Parking near the French Quarter. $ 10 per 24h per parking space. To avoid paying for 2 spaces, set back the rear overhang of your vehicle on the lawn. $50 for 24h if you take more than one space.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Great spot! Seems safe enough right next to police station. Other RVs here. Close enough to walk down to the French Quarter and Mississippi River. Better than spending $100 for a gated RV park.
Report Check-InGreat for the day. Make sure to not take up more than 1 spot otherwise it’s the RV rate.
Report Check-InWe stayed for one night to visit the French Quarter at night, very convenient 10 minute walk to Bourbon Street.
Paid 10 U$ for 24h with 8.5m truck, drove the back over the lawn, up to the curb.
Indeed $20 parking for 24h and $50 when using multiple parking places. Even bigger rigs will fit in a single parking spot as long you use the lawn overhang and stay between the lines.
See photo posted !
Beware your belongings, regular brake in into cars with smashed windows. But didn’t see any RV issues.

Be sure you are paying for the correct lot when you go to pay for parking. We came for the proximity to the French Quarter and stayed after paying the $30/24 hour (assuming higher prices for Mardi Gras). When we got back to the truck we had a boot. Guy said our parking was for the wrong lot, which is strange because we followed the steps of the pay meter in the same parking lot. Regardless, it is in a great location. We did notice broken windows lining the street so just be careful.
Report Check-InHuge lot. Relatively quiet. Close to the French district. Next to a very nice visitors center. Every so often at night a man drives by with a very loud car. Lots of people cut through this lot. They will immediately boot, be sure to pay, $10/24 hours. A car had their windows smashed. Stayed 2 nights, I knew I was risking it based on past comments. Be safe.
Report Check-InGreat place for 1 night. Very close to French quarter. Also information center just in front of the parking. 50$ / 24h for RV. If you need to use slideout, only few places where you can extend without using a s’use parking.. but we were ok
Report Check-InJust beside Basin Station, 10 minutes walk to Bourbon street. 50$ for 24h parking. Safe and quiet at night.
Report Check-InPerfect place with Van or 24 ft RV . We stayed 1 night , safe and walking distance Bourbon st . We weren’t sure ahead of time so we had reserved 2 nights a French Quarter RV because we have our Dog .
But definitely worth 10$ for 24 hr parking .
Would recommend
Good and safe. Noisy but fine. I paid $11 for 24 hours. Walked down St Louis to Bourbon then to LaFittes for bloodys. Nice time in Nola.
Report Check-InGot here Monday afternoon and left Saturday morning. Stayed right on St. Louis st in between the cemetery, the park, and the parking lot. Safe area and the police sit in the parking lot from time to time. If you’re a bigger rig I recommend parking in the lot. But many schoolies have parked on the street. Parked there for almost a week and no body bothered me the whole time.
Report Check-InVery good location for 20$ 24h. Right by the French quarter and the hop on hop off no. 5. No problem. Stayed once with a 24 h ticket and once arrived at 11 pm paid 10$ and left at 9am. Beau spot pour les petites van et les classes c
Report Check-Inas described, public parking, unbeatable location, right near the French quarter. RVs $50 for "24 hours" (ends at 11:59am regardless of purchase time)
well lit, a dozen other RVs, vanlifers, and even another skoolie.
we moved to the street the next day, free parking on the street, and stayed for 3 more nights.
the area is loud, lots of traffic, and gets a bit wild on the weekends, but felt relatively safe. right next to St Louis Cemetery 1 and 2, very cool to be this close to the heart of New Orleans.
Report Check-InParking near the French Quarter. $ 10 per 10h per parking space. To avoid paying 2 seats, set back the rear overhang on the lawn. $ 50 for 24h.
