On the Coastal Trail. Small flat paved parking lot. Beautiful view of the coast. Lulled to sleep and awake by the surf. The access road dead ends at a trailhead about 50 metres away - so no through traffic. Picnic area with tables. Very clean pit toilet at the trailhead. A great place for the night,

Stayed one night here. Got in around 10:30p and no one bothered us all night. Parked at the top lot and woke up to a beautiful view of the ocean. There is a short trail (probably around .1mi) that you can take to look out & see the Cascades (?), as well as Crescent City. Overall recommend.

Stayed here for one night. Beautiful view. No one bothered me, but it was very windy and I came very late in the night. If you can't sleep when your van is shaking a bit due to the wind, this place is not for you. Otherwise: Go for it!

This is one of the best free overnight spots I’ve stayed at in the U.S. The scenery is stunning. Trash bins and picnic tables available. No restroom. Incredible spot.

There are signs saying no overnight parking.

Nice quiet spot to stay overnight and be able to get up for a morning hike during the week. Not sure how it would be on the weekend.

Beautiful small flat parking lot overlooking Enderts Beach south of Crescent City. Room for 3 vehicles, 1 with handicap sticker. Very quiet overnight.

Part of the Redwoods National Park, and has a sign saying permitted backpackers only. Rangers check nightly now, was very friendly, but ushered us along.

very nice spot no signs, but lots of other vans/cars and limited level real estate. Show up early, and be considerate, other people are probably going to want to park by you, so don't take up 3 spaces... I got here Tuesday at 5pm, there were already tons of people looking for a spot for the night.

Great location, absolutely beautiful breathtaking views of the ocean. Kind of busy until about 11 o’clock at night but after that it was all quiet. And absolutely no problems. woke up to the most stunning views. There are a few more parking spaces passed the spot that I stayed in so if it’s full keep driving another 200 yards.

Very nice location. I was surprised how busy it was on a late Sunday night, people came out for night time hikes on a Sunday? But nobody bothered me and after midnight there was no other traffic. There are more parking locations just passed the spot that will work out perfectly as well.

Nice spot for a few nights. We stayed at the first spot at the top. Beautiful views + sound of the ocean and that's it! Two other rigs joined us at the top spot. 2-3 bars Verizon.

Perfect campsite with a nice view. Upper spot is much flatter than the parking lot lower down. Bathrooms in the lower parking lot with trash and recycling

Great place for a night. Extra parking down the road. Keep it clean though, trash in a lot of places.

Excellent spot for an overnight.
No road noise;just the sound of the surf. Pit toilet, picnic benches and grass plus a beautiful view. We stayed at the upper portion for the view with only a little wall to the toilet.
