El Salvador
Possibly the best place to park your vehicle (and overnight) when visiting the town. Parking lot is shaded and peaceful. Owner, Jose Hernandez, is a super friendly guy.
Surrounding the parking lot perimeter are tiny homes housing small families, so there is a nice community here.
Gate is tall enough for big rigs. We were 3.2m high and absolutely no problems. See picture for reference. Longer than 23’ might have problems making the turn into the parking lot, however.
We did not sleep here but paid $2 for the entire day. Did not get an overnight price, but it can’t be expensive.
Bathrooms and shower available. Water also available.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Gate was locked when we got here early afternoon. Stayed at the Granja just up the street instead which was great!
