Description

Beautiful state/DNR campground in the National Park. Must have a valid MI rec passport and then it is $15 a night. You can pay at the post and not go online. A lot of sites on water. 16 rustic sites. Very tight camp loop road, not for the long rigs. Trails from campground. Shady and quiet!

Latest Check-Ins

Awesome little rustic campground with loads of sites right on the lake. Most with nice pine tree cover. Pit toilets and drinking water available. We were here in mid-April and were the only ones. Hiked 4 mile path down to Lake Superior (3 miles back).

Report Check-In

I passed by this place and saw that the fee has been increased to $20 per night, plus the Michigan Recreation Passport.
