Very comfy, clean, and in good location hostel. we paid 30 sol for a room for 2 but it could accommodate 3 persons.
good Wi-Fi, hot shower, TV, and a huge garage.

Great Hotel. Paid 50 soles for the nicest room. Rooms available from 30. Had a load of laundry done and returned within 3 hours for 5 soles. Recommend this hotel, but do not recommend staying on the first floor. It's very loud.
Report Check-InExcellent hostal. Paid 50 soles/night, stayed here a few nights to tour the area. Very clean, friendly staff, covered secured parking, fast wifi, centralized walk to restaurants, tour companies, etc. Great place to use as a base for a few days to see surrounding sites.

Rooms on second floor have much better hot water than 4th floor
Garage height about 2.8-3m. Our 2.5m van fit with no issues
We paid 40 soles for a room for two. Clean and nice. Showers were warm but not hot.
They have a big garage for motorbikes without any additional fee.
As described - basic room, decent WiFi, hot water was hit or miss. Close to plaza and everything else you could need. Spacious parking across the street.
Report Check-InNice hotel with parking across the street, 30 soles for matrimonial room, 4 floors and a roof. discounts for longer stays, beautiful view of the mountain from room 401 (pic attached - that was the view from the bed!) I ended up staying 4 days.
Report Check-InAs previous posts: 30 sol matrimonial per night. Intermittently hot shower. Large parking area also used as saw mill so if you have a bike cover it may be useful. Clean room, close to square, nice staff. Great for base for day trips to Lake Paron, Canon del Pato etc. Check out 10am. Recommend La Terraza off main square (top right side of walking up from Hostal) for breakfast - 11sol pp, but do not order the pizzas there!!

Report Check-InNice place and owner. Garage can fit 8 cars and 8 bikes. 30 soles. with private bathroom. only I don't like electric showers 😬. Caraz is a very nice quiet town. Edwards hostel is near the main plaza.
Report Check-InGreat value hotel. Nice views from our room in the fourth floor. 30 sol a night for a big matrimonial room. We based ourselves in Caraz to do the multi day Santa Cruz trek, the owner said it is no problem to leave our bicycles and bags in a room in his big garage until we get back. Caraz is a less crowded and cheaper option to busy Huaraz and it has everything you need, even a tourist info and hiking agency to rent gear or organize a tour etc (Pony Express close to the plaza). There is also a huge mercado and big grocery store (Trujillo).
Report Check-Indecent place. they have two prices: 30/s for a foam mattress or 40/s for a real mattress (for a couple). decent wifi on the second floor. somewhat noisy but good location. if you stay a few nights you can get a discount.

Report Check-InWe tried Camping Guadalupe which is a good iO recommandation but the price of hotel Edwards is about the same (35 NS for a double including garage in the carpentry workshop just in front of hotel) so we choose this accommodation, into the village.
Room Nbr 203 has good wi-fi as said by precedent iO but it is noisy because TV of frontdesk just below...
For us no any problem of dirty bedsheets as complained by last iO.
No real window in this room.
Forget about clean and changed after last guest bedsheets. We used our blankets and pillows... Price rised up to 35 soles/double room, but we negociated down to 30 soles. We had room 302 with good wifi signal. Quite fast internet!
Report Check-InWe've checked almost all the hostals of Caraz and this is the best one we've found for such a cheap price. Internet was not working but there is an Internet place just next by. Very clean, Tv, hot shower and garage. 25 soles for two.
