Latest Check-Ins

We asked to camp in one of the palapas. (travelling by bike).
The family running it were great. Really welcoming. They let us store our bike in their house and we camped on the beach. There was a rudimentary toilet and a well that had reasonably fresh water for washing in.
They told us to pay what we wanted. We gave 150.
It felt very safe and secure

I stayed here on a Saturday night. There were a lot of locals but all of them left after sunset. There was a lot of garbage, both washed up on the beach as well as remnants of parties. I asked some locals if I could sleep here for the night and they advised me to park closer to the market.

We stopped here 2 days a little before this point where there are palms. The place is nice and quiet, with a direct access to the beach. Lot of trashs, we picked up 2 big bags. Between 2 palms es possible to install an hammock. People here are so nice, a morning José brang with his wheelbarrow 15 coconuts and later Cristobal and Irene came with lot of food and drinks to share with us a very pleasant moment. Becareful a short part of the track is very sandy and we have helped 2 cars (whose police car) to get out of the sand. There is a spotty Internet access with ATT (mainly in the evening).

Nice and quiet- but really windy and big waves! We hade some doggo fren - nobody else. Be aware of the big spiders in the tall grass!!! Yellow- black seems not so friendly ^^

Long flat beach with good breeze & many palm trees! Found a spot with no issue around 7pm on a Saturday, lots of locals at the start of the road, but only 2 cars down at the far end and both of these left just after the sunset. No one bothered us all night! Spotty Telcel reception (enough for the occasional message).

As described, very calm spot, we sleeped well with an other van. some wild dogs. at the morning policemen said to us the area can be dangerous because of human trafic. so stay safe. i'm not shure long vehicle can acces, U turn can ve difficult.

Great, grassy spot overlooking the ocean. Some wreckage on the beach, little garbage left by other visitors (spent 15 min on cleanup). No shade, no protection (we're in a roof tent), but there are three more spots, before the end of the road, with palm trees. Fishermen, (municipal) police and few visitors come by during the day. The hostess (Sylvia) of the first palapa is very welcoming.

We spent Christmas 2021 here (3 nights). Our first night was the quietest in a month - absolutely no disturbances. Buena Noche was very noisy, Christmas night was quieter.

A weak Telcel 4G signal, sometimes stronger Telcel Edge signal (different transmitters).

Sleeped for 1 nite. The place is amazing and quiet. At midnight policia came to see if everything is ok. The little village around very friendly.

Absolutely beautiful site, totally worth visiting. The beach isn't the cleanest, but it's nice and quite, and the sunset was lovely. Google maps says the road ends much sooner than it does, just keep driving and there's a perfect little place to park at the end. No one bothered us all night, and we felt very safe.
