Nice little campsite in the Gulf Island National Park Reserve. Great for an early/late drive to the ferry (5min). Unserviced sites, pit toilets. No-one on site when we arrived at 20h, reservation required. RV (21ft): $18 camping fee, $11.50 reservation fee. Some noise from highway during the day but very quiet at night.

tried to stay here on Easter Sunday.

$18.75, payable by cash in an envelope at the front. No problems getting a first-come campsite! Phone reception, pit toilets, light highway noise. 4 minute drive from the ferry!

A great little spot if you're looking to explore the southern island without dumping a bunch of money on camping fees. We stayed here 4 nights while visiting Victoria and it was worth the 30 mimute drive into town (vs paying ~$100 to canp) in Victoria. We booked back in for another 5 nights later as we liked the spot so much. $100 for 5 nights of camping & peace of mind you always have a place to park is great.

Stayed here a night before the ferry. Nice large spots in the woods with descent privacy. Right up next to the highway so they’ll be some noise but I wasn’t particularly bothered. Reservations available online thru Canadian national park system but cannot be made same day. Walk ins are allowed, there is a pay station (cash only) at the front entrance. A truck came around in the evening to check slip on campsite so you’d probably get caught if you tried not to pay. A great option for before/after the ferry and about 30 mins from city center of Victoria.
