Description

Super friendly owners ( Ivania & Daniel) welcome travellers with open arms. They allowed us to pitch our tent in the private fenced off garden where the peacocks live… we planned to be here for a night or 2 after crossing the border from Guatemala ended up stay much longer! On the second night it rained real hard and they invited us to stay with them at their house… we ended up staying at their house for 5 days, doing day trips from there!
It was a fantastic experience. There is plenty of room for campers and medium size rigs you might even be able to get a big rig in there.
We were shown the entire property, they have hot showers, probably can sort out some power. We paid $10 per person including breakfast.
Ivania and Daniel were super hosts! Definitely swing by this place even if it is just to have a coffee or a meal. They both speak very good English.

Although it is a very nice restaurant, with nice live music on Sunday, we did expect a little more because of all the reviews. The coffee wasn’t great, food was not expensive but also not very good. It was super crowded and people were coming in until 7pm. We couldn’t put the car in a level spot until then. We camped in the parking lot, next to the very busy road, also during the night. The rooster woke us up from 3 AM until 7 AM until we were fully woken up. Toilet and shower were nice, but we would’ve gone elsewhere if we didn’t already pay.

We mmed and ahhed about staying here because of the price, but we are so glad we did. We’re on bicycles and we desperately needed a rest day and this couldn’t have been more perfect for that. The garden is stunning and feels really private (aside from the peacocks and occasional tour groups going past), and we were able to do everything we needed to (warm shower, spigot in the garden, plenty of space to spread out without annoying anyone). We felt more than safe to leave our tent and bikes here and spend 50cents on a bus to Juayua to enjoy the weekend food market there. Definitley recommended that for touring cyclists in need of a little break.

Lovely spot! As others said, pricey but it includes delicious breakfast, as much coffee as you want, and friendly owners with free tours. Our dogs and cat were welcome to tour the grounds, and we went on a short run around the coffee garden (several laps, it’s tiny). There’s a canopy view tower and it is just STUNNINGLY pretty. Quiet and mega safe feeling.

Beautiful place! Yes, a little pricey but it includes a hot shower and breakfast. Dogs are welcome, they have adopted a street dog themselves (Nube), but be sure to ask. In some areas of the restaurant, dogs are not allowed. The garden and plants are absolutely beautiful and the coffee is great!

we stayed here one night after a stay across the street for a change of scenery. the garden is spectacular and definitely worth the stop. the food was delicious and had many affordable options. coffee was great. they let us stay without issues and gave us access to a private bathroom that had hot showers. I tried to pay for the night, and asked 4 different people, but no one seemed to want to take the money? maybe because we were eating there? we never met the owners. perhaps that was who we needed to talk to? we don't speak enough Spanish to insist on paying, but we tipped well and hoped that was enough. I emailed them before our arrival because this listing initially said dogs not allowed, and someone replied in minutes saying that they are dog friendly but aren't allowed inside the main part of the restaurant, but there was small outdoor area where we could bring them and the gardens were ok to go into.
