Report Check-InQuaretena stop point! We spend 4 hours to cross Caleta Olivia and comodoro, because they follow you to cris the city. You need to wait for other cars, tell them if you need gas then will stop in the last gas station before the entrance of the city.

Report Check-InEveryone north & south were being stopped. Asked for insurance (carta verde for Mercosul), driver and vehicle license and asked where we are going as usual

They stopped us here to register our title and check our passports. The police guy jay stopped us was trying to emphasis that our road lights were not on, but they were on. Because we have a truck our lights are positioned on the bumper, so he thought we had our fog lights on not the road lights on. We had to explain that in Europe is works like this. He added that we need to comply with Argentinian law, but soon passed as my husband responded very confident we are compliant.
Report Check-InWell. Got unlucky finally. Warning, corrupted cops here. They tried to find something at fault. DO NOT PAY ANY BRIBES. I kept my front laminated tinted windshield (they told me i couldnt). They tried to find other things. They got bored after 30 minutes. Total waiting time was 45. A joke. But...got free to go. You never have to pay tickets on the spot in argentina.
Playing the no hablo espagnol here WOULD WORK, and I recommend it.
