Description
This is the only campground we found that had any trees for shade. The view is amazing, there are bathrooms and showers. There is a store and restaurant across the road.

Report Check-InPrivate campground with shade from a few trees; some sites have great views. Sites are close to each other. Little wind protection. Flushing toilets in 'outhouses' throughout. Central showers and bathrooms pretty dirty, bring a pair of pliers to adjust the water temperature of the shower. WiFi SSID present, but no connection. At USD 15 for a tent site, still better value than Forest or Park Service campgrounds because of the hot shower. Good for one night.
Report Check-InWe were driving through death valley at sunset and it was still over 100°. The wind was blowing sand all over and it would’ve been impossible to set up a tent and it was too hard. My son found this campground and it is really good for only $15. Had showers. Clean bathrooms. Nice tent sites. Beautiful sunrise. There is a full-service restaurant across the street. They have a clamping and you can rent tents.
Report Check-InVery beautiful spot. Hot Showers, good toilets and fast Wifi in front of the restaurant. Paid 15$ with our 20ft Van on Tent place. Good price.
Can recommend. Restaurant opposite, a petrol Station (petrol very expensive!) and a small shop also opposite. during night very quiet.

$15 for "tent site" (in van, no problem). The only difference between tent and dry RV sites is that the RV sites are larger, pull-theough, and twice as much.
Arrived on Sunday afternoon. Showers and bathrooms were a bit of a wreck - trash all over floor, shower floors not cleaned in a while. Yeah bins located outside of the restrooms were overflowing with trash and animals got into then and dragged everything around. Not sure if it's always this trashy or if they're just short-staffed but I'd have been unhappy if I paid more than $15!
There were two women's shower stalls and one of them had better water pressure than the other. My bf reported that one of the men's stalls only had cold water.
Internet is satellite and works best if you're literally sitting outside of the gas station across the street. They have some patio furniture out there. Don't expect to download anything of a significant size! No cell service on Verizon.
Burgers were decent at the restaurant across the street and the outdoor seating was nice. The "milkshakes" at the gas station are just some Blue Bunny ice cream that they mix until it's liquid - for $7.50!
Basically worth it due to location and a shower for a low price but not much else to recommend it.
Report Check-InNow $15 a night for tent sites. Includes shower but I didn’t take one. Flushing toilets spaced about. Standard close campgrounds layout. Hard rocks. Very Windy. No AT&T. WiFi did not work for me, was able to logon but nothing. Not even simple low data text apps worked.
Report Check-InOver priced $45 they have electricity and water if you need it. Not worth $45 but location is good. Did have hot showers. Store and gas station and restaurant across the highway
National parks cost a lot especially when privately owned camp site. We stayed here to go motorcycle riding to Darwin then next day.
They raised their prices- $15 for a regular site now and $5 per pet so cost us $20 for the night. We felt like it was a rip off because their advertised “wifi” only works in the parking lot, not the campground, and even then we couldn’t load email. Bathrooms and campground are meh. I’d skip this spot in the future- Stovepipe Wells has $5 showers
Report Check-InRustic but nice. full hook ups are available. Pull through spots if you have trailer. Good place to let the dogs run for exercise. Running water (toilets/showers) did not take showers so do not know if hot water was available. Unable to get Wi-Fi in campground. It was a good spot to pull in for the night. #vanlife.
