Description

Amazing views! There is a gate right off the road you will need to open and close. Keep driving past the no parking signs and there are a few informal camping spots with fire pits at the end of the road. 2 wd accessible. A couple bumpy spots but mostly smooth. Good Verizon service, not great TMobile. One of our favorite spots yet!

Amazing location to boondock! Epic views of the Vermillion Cliffs with easy access to the rim of Marble Canyon.

Beautiful place. Was able to find it in the dark. Gate was a little hard to find at first. It is rocky in some areas, so just take it slow and pay attention. Had the place to myself. Surrounded by stars at night and then a beautiful sunrise. Would definitely stay here again.

This becomes quite the overlander community in the evening. Big beautiful piece of land with many options to park for the night. We went back to the end of the dirt road with our truck camper, there is zero road noise, very peaceful setting. Everybody was respectful and left plenty space between others, no garbage . We enjoyed it here.

as described. no signage from the road.

GPS location in site details is now updated and correct. As described. Was empty when we were there. High-er clearance would be better but not needed, 4wd not necessary either. For context, weather had been dry prior to our visit.

Nice spot but the directions on Google Maps had us heading in the wrong direction with signs that read private property/no camping. We drove a bit further down the road and saw ‘the gate’. Very quiet and peaceful. Road is not in terrible condition. Doubt you need 4x4 today.

This was a A++ site! Epic views, good 2-3 bars of Verizon. 4 download 9 upload. Camped 1 site down from the end. If no kids and no dogs the end spot is the winner.

Absolutely amazing spot! We started at the farthest site overlooking the Colorado but it felt like it was windier over there so we moved to another spot down the road. But this is THE spot. Incredible views, quiet, decent version service and clean.

A favorite! Usually here with a truck camper but the trailer made it just fine

Incredible how selfish people are they just have to crowd the best spot when there were other hood spots. So ignorant just drove past my location and I watched it fill until the person first there left
Van people just seem entitled

Report Check-In

It is a nice spot but I can’t believe how ignorant people are in respecting others space and that there people there before them but maybe that’s van people. There were other goods spot but no they drove past and just parked eventually the ordinal person left
Just selfish

Wow is all I have to say about this place! Been on a month long trip in TX, AZ, NM and Utah and this is the most spectacular place we have seen in our Rev. Road in was rocky but ok. One spot needed 4x4 but no big deal. Two other vans tonight but a l

Amazing views! Our 2WD Dodge Promaster made it all the way in. Little rocky, but easily do-able. Nice big spots, plenty large for a couple rigs in each spot. 3 bars of Verizon LTE.

Got in here with our 22 ft Class C. A bit touch and go just after we got off the Highway but plain sailing after that. Camped on the canyon edge - stunning. Joined by two other RV's for the night - both camped more than 500m away so very peaceful and quiet.

Great blm land off the highway. We had no issue in our Coachmen Crosstrek with AWD. Several established spots along the road and minimal highway noise. Was really windy the first night we were here.

BLM-(open and close gate)
East off dirt road .75 miles, 2 bar’s Verizon, fire ring, gorgeous sunrise & sunset.
A must for van-lifers or travelers alike! No 4 wd or high clearance needed. Road has a few dips but manageable. Enjoy and safe travels friends!!
