Spent 3 nights here in mid-oct in our new smaller fifth-wheel. No camphost on site, I guess it's late season and they are gone until next year. There were quite a few other campers here, which surprised me as it's mid-week and late season. Very quiet. I reserved site 30 but it was short and steep and couldn't get level, so moved to site 32 which was better.
There appears to be some nice hikes that we will check out and then the old mining town/museum.
The road getting in was windy and curvy, no problem. Closest town for supplies, food, etc is not close so bring what you need.

Report Check-InGreat little campground, good value for unlimited hit showers, dump, electricity and water at 20 dollars (half for access and seniors). Spots are not very far spaced and no trees between so a fully booked day may feel crowded, but out of season nobody there so perfect. Closed 1 Dec to 1 April.
