This spot is about a mile from Charles Waters official campground. It’s obviously been camped in before. You could put at least a 40-foot travel trailer in it but there’s no turn around so you have to have excellent backup skills. There’s an established fire ring made with rocks. The view is excellent

This a great campsite that fit our 25ft trailer and a truck camper and has a pretty view. But the ranger just came by and said it's not a campsite because it's in a recreation area. Not sure why that's a problem. He was nice but we had to move. Consider this spot closed and unavailable!!! The campground is on the way to this spot, walking distance. It's $15 a night now but the fees didn't start until May 11th. We didn't realize that or we would have stayed in the campground. I don't know when the fees end for the season. Water and trash are not available until Mid May.
