Description

We were just passing through and wanted to find a spot before dark. Took the 38 up to San Bernardino National Forest and found this very large spot off the highway. It was great. Gorgeous view of the city at sunset. Got windy at night. There were 2 other cars who pulled in after us. Both folks were very friendly. We’re planning on hiking here today and are excited to have stumbled on this place. Full cell reception: I’m on visible which piggybacks off Verizon I think.

Good sized pullout with 3-4 cars there already. There is a big fence keeping you from driving in deeper. However, one hard packed dirt road parallels the highway from the pullout. I drove down that a ways for some privacy. Very quiet night and beautiful morning views!

We continued onwards towards the electricity lines to be further from the street noise. I found this spot much better than the one ahead bc it is more vast and spacious. Better service here too 1 bar att

we just arrived to this spot and there is already one car here, so it should be ok for the night... but wanted to update on the metal fencing that looks like it was just recently put there. there is still space to park our 28ft rv, but yea the pullout is not so big now.

Lovely view. Perfect place to crash after sitting on the 10 for so long I wasn’t going to make it up into the mountains in the dark. Quiet overnight BUT traffic starts up in the morning. No one else around while I was here. In my SUV, safe & sound!
