Something not right?

Description

This is a narrow, somewhat steep, dirt road into the mountains out of town. There are some parking lots and pulloffs for car camping or tent camping. This location is under a powerline, but there is another better large parking lot/trailhead 5 minutes uphill. Moderate cell reception all over mountain. road is flat and not washed out or rocky and does not require four-wheel drive, but would be difficult to climb under snowy or muddy conditions due to grade.

Latest Check-Ins

Stayed a quick Thursday night traveling east. As others mentioned the “road” looks like someone’s driveway and is very steep. The promaster, with new KO2 tires struggled to make it up. Stayed at the first lot which was level and had a great view. A pickup or 2 drove up to the second lot once or twice. Never bothered me. Some truck noice from the highway down in the valley. ATT & Verizon coverage

Report Check-In

Great spot with a view. Beautiful stars at night. It was pretty steep but my old car made it up (tent camping).

Note: I came in at night and it felt like I was trespassing on someone’s house/farm. I’m glad I kept going. No one was up here at all on a weekday

Report Check-In

As described. Road up in good condition, as gravel roads go, and is steep, but nothing my Nissan NV2500 camper conversion couldn't handle. I opted to stay in first lot, under power lines. entrance to road from main road is tricky so pay attention. I actually am getting full bars with t-mobile.
