Excellent Camp Hosts Mark and Larry, spent my night chatting with the two characters, over a fire. Crabby Park Ranger Richard. Beautiful camp spots with very new fire grills and from picnic tables. Labelled full at front entrance and online, but when I showed up at 6pm, there was one reserved site free ($30) and two overfill sites free ($15). The overfill 1-5 spots is almost nicer as they are pull through, less traffic and more private. They are farther away from showers though and no electricity. Honestly for one night I don’t want to pay $15 for electricity anyway! No generators allowed btw. My solar works just fine.

Showerheads are THE worst, just like a spray trickle of water so you couldn’t get warm at all. I went to the handicap handheld which actually had a working showerhead. Still not my favourite as I like to stand underneath the stream and wash with both hands😕

Lovely easy hiking trails options!

Come to the park even just for a picnic, there’s tables and shade set up all over the place for day guests. Just beautiful backdrop.

Just thought that I would add that they have six overflow spots but are available on a first come first serve basis. we had no problem snagging a spot a few nights in a row by showing up before 9:00 a.m. No hookups in the overflow spots, but pit toilet and access to the nice hot showers and flush toilets in the main loop. A real steal at $15/night. Absolutely beautiful park!

beautiful wonderful and rocky. going up is .. coming down is slippery

$30 per night with electric. Dump station, but no potable water available for RV fill up, so arrive with full tanks. You also cannot flush your tanks here.
We booked in advance, $3.20 fee for online reservations, cheap fee compared to a lot of other places.
Back-in sites seem more level overall.
Look at Google map satellite view and you can confirm which sites have ramadas (shelters) which can be handy.
Highway and train noise is fairly muted but does exist.
Showers warm enough.
Dish washing stations behind main bathrooms.
Lots of hiking.

Great spot if you don't mind being close enough to the interstate to hear it. Worth going if you like to hike, the mountain is a perfect day hike with amazing views.

Excellent campsite established campsite, sites nicely spaced apart. Only drawback: lots of noise from the trains and Highway traffic.
