Description

Great place and very large with 2 parking spaces. The road would be a bit tough for big rigs but feasible. The view is fantastic.

Latest Check-Ins

Michael Renton's info is very accurate. This pin refers to the 'lower level' of site #3 that he mentions. Level parking on both sides of the road. Room for a couple of large rigs, especially on the side farther inland, away from the water. We had watched the sunset at the parking lot just before the RV park, and could have spent the night there, but there were also some local kids there with their trucks and ATVs and weren't sure how loud it would get so we decided to move up here. No one else here. Very windy, the van was shaking all night.

This place is absolutely stunning. Don’t miss this spot if you’re in the area! Plenty of space for multiple rigs. Locals also come for sunsets, not much traffic after dark. There are also whales in this area. We could hear them while we were in our tent.

As suggested by ocal business owner, 3 great spots to overnight in La Scie.
1. Municipal Park in Town, looking at Harbour. Chairs, picnic table and garbage. Great spot if the next two are too windy.
2. Just outside of RV park gates is a gravel parking lot with room for 2 to 3 bigger rigs to park.
3. To the right of the RV park is gravel road leading to look out and trails. Best view. There are to levels of parking here. Reccommend parking on lower level , lots of space. Upper level has limited space and locals will come up to check on weather and iceberg conditions in the outer harbor and will need space to turn around.

These 3 are all free overnight parking outside of Island Cove Park. The RV park is municipally run and over full service hook ups for about $30 if that is what you are looking for.
