Something not right?

Description

Very limited free camping in Prince Rupert. This seems like a safe parking lot, a semi was parked here when I got in. It backs into a wooded area and is out of the way of traffic. Not super loud but there is road noise.

endroit parfait lorsque le traversier arrive à 00h45 du matin. un peu passant Le matin par les camions.
Nous étions 4 rv . on est resté 2 soir. une belle piscine à proximité pour les amateurs.

Report Check-In

We slept here for one night. However, we were awakened at 8:30 by a city employee and asked to leave. Apparently someone was complaining about us. We were not loud, etc. We parked and went straight to sleep.

The employee was very friendly and there was no fine either. There are no signs prohibiting sleeping overnight. I guess it is a matter of luck!

not great but does the job. stayed here 2 nights waiting on the ferry. definitely loud and very bright lights from the arts building but its free, flat, and pretty central 👍

Three other nervous campers here tonight due to the fact that there is no overnight camping allowed in PR. It’s a nice flat parking lot. Quieter than the Rapids lookout trail lot. But that is our back up plan if we get scooted outta here. I’ll post more if that happens. Hit the brewery in town. Great local beers. The pub had a better atmosphere and met some great locals.
