Something not right?

Description

We're not sure if camping is normally allowed here, but the lady at the front office let us pitch our tents in their nice garden for a night. The showers were claimed to be hot, but Kobus couldn't get anything but cold water. Lots of birds - a parrot, a couple of owls and tons of chickens. A nice place to spend a night, and it's right on the town square. This where the archeologists working on the Chavin de Huantar ruins stay, and their workshop is on the grounds.

Still here and still acceptable. However, quite expensive (i.e overpriced…) at 120 soles for a matrimonial (2 persons). WiFi does seem to work now though.

Unfortunately, there has been a huge landide from the hill that faces the city, and the hotel has no wifi now. It's also under construction, a bit caotic. The ruins site is closed too, so the only thing worth in this trip was the beautiful road up here. Water is not hot neither warm. I've skipped shower today...lol

Really nice place to stay overnight. Quiet, clean, hot shower, delicious breakfast. Save parking inside the nice garden, not for big rigs, pick up ok. 40 s for single room, including car parking, 12s for breakfast with fresh juice, eggs and really good coffee! Worth it!
Camping inside the Garden area possible, 25s.

Chavin is a long way from anywhere, and to find a place as nice as this was a relief. Paid S80 for a double room, and the super hot showers alone were worth that. Our Toyota Hilux based Camper fitted easily into the secure back garden.

40 sol for single with bath. Very quiet place with garden. No wifi but that’s normal for this town

We could camp in their nice courtyard for 25 soles. Garden full of flowers, a parrot and sheep, and nice, warm showers. Very clean and good location :) we walked the next morning to the ruinas, which was really cool as you are allowed to enter the underground tunnels! Good place to stay after the long and slow drive from the other side of the cordillera ;)

Nous avons dormi une nuit à l'Hotel Inca ⭐️⭐️, dans notre 4*4 LR aménagé. Nous avons payé 25 soles le stationnement. Un petit déjeuner américain à 12 soles par personne.

A good place to spend the night, on a very interesting little town. They are charging 35 soles for a single room. The beds are a little small, as well as the blankets (and I'm 5'7''). Showers are hot with plenty of water.

Ask 60sol for 2 person while the shower are broken (only cold water...), no wifi. And for camping 20sol... Crazy price for nearly no service!!! Didn't stay.

Nice location. Now charging 70s for matrimonial. No internet in square and water in shower barely warm. Museum closed for re attain and Site only open on Sunday and Tuesday!

We could fit in with 2 LandCruisers. Very nice place and owners. Surprisingly quiet for a friday night. 5 min walk to the ruins. 20 soles per car, hot shower. Free wifi on the plaza in front of hotel!

60 soles for matrimonial with bathroom. Garden for tent camping but too cold for us. Nice owners and great location. Very secure motorcycle parking. Clean rooms.

Paid 20Soles per night for two people and a big dog. It's right in the main square so there is a bit of noise at night. There are Owls, a parrot, chickens and a few cats. Nice spot for one or two nights. Water was hot (when we asked for it) the first night but the second day there wasent any hot water. I fit my Ford 250 with pop up in the main door. I didn't get to measure it but I guess it's about 2.6 meters.

Not sure many rigs besides motorcycles will fit in this hotel, but it sure does look nice. We would have stayed here if there had been room for us.
