Great place.. get very busy after 4pm.. this is our 3rd night in a row.. highly recommend.. great views, and plenty of room. Dirt road, but well maintained. It’s close to main road, so there is noise.. but for a free spot next to the recreation area entrance.. priceless!

Report Check-In

Great little spot. Pretty calm tonight with a few cars coming in and out. Sand is soft but did it without engaging the 4x4. Only thing that bugged me for a moment was all the gun casings at the firepit. All sorts of different kinds, but I'm staying. There seems to be enough traffic

Report Check-In

We spent two nights here, were completely alone. Nice spot, quiet.

Report Check-In

Great location near lake Powell/antelope canyon and horshoe bend. First part of the road is a bit rutted out, so be cautious. we managed to find a place that didn't require any driving into sand with our 2 wheel drive Ford van, I imagine in the summer months this area might fill up quickly.

Report Check-In

BLM very close to Page.
Overnight forbidden the first 0,4 miles.
Dirt road to access. No big Rv, high clearance needed. Sandy at the top of the hill.

Report Check-In

We spend to nigth there, you have to be early to find a good place. People are parked eveywhere, it's was not the more peacefull for that, buyt part of the game. And when you wake up, you drive 5mn and you are at the recreationnal area with all the facilities and beach, worth it.

We tougth about going to horseshoe a nigth, but when we saw the crowd and how close it's form the hihgway, we turned back to this spot, no noise from road.

Report Check-In

Spent 2 nights there. great view. You can find good spots hidden from the road even with a 2W.

Report Check-In

Nice quiet place with a great view. The sandy spots are difficult to reach, even our 4x4 got stuck in the soft sand. The rocky places are great to stay. Bit of noise from the road.

Report Check-In

Several spots for 2WD, too. Nice trail over the sand stone rock formations. After parking on one of the lower spots the cops sent me further up, basically to where you're out of sight of the highway.

Report Check-In

There is a rule written on a post (which has been confirmed by two rangers passing by) : if you camp there, you must be at least at a quarter mile from the highway (so that you can't be seen from the highway). As a consequence, a lot of sites can't be used... Those who remain available are the ones on soft sand. We didn't dare to push much further with our 2WD Chevy van.

Report Check-In

Lots of spot to camp Near the road or a little bit further on the gravel/sand road if you like more privacy

big rig ok (25ft) or travel trailer (17ft)

Report Check-In

Great spot! Nice views. Close to page and to Antelope Canyon (must see). You can hear the road a tiny bit. Depends on the spot. For some spots you need 4x4 and for some not. Same for big rigs. No cell phone with att.

Report Check-In

Nice spot. Red sand site in the desert with nice view. Just off from main road. Lots of sites with fire pits. A bit windy - but we're here during monsoon. Across road from national recreation centre where you can use facilities if you have an annual national parks pass. Looked like it would be a good place to stay. We didn't end up staying here as we decided to drive further south to get closer to Grand Canyon. Previous comments are right - sand is soft.

Report Check-In

Dirt road with several pull outs. Nice view of the lake.

Report Check-In

cool BLM site just around the corner of the Dam/ 5 min to Page
some sites need 4x4 as it's very soft sand
