One of the best camp spots along this beautiful road.
On a windy day no wind at all.

3 friendly pigs came to visite us.

Lots of cow, horse and pig poo…

arrived at this spot in the early evening. very nice place, flat, can accommodate several trucks or tents, beautiful view a little away from the road, protected from dust by small bushes. we also have the visit of two female pigs, a little thin, probably runaways...

I left my watch here next to a large stump not too far into the campsite. It is broken and has no value other than sentimental. If someone is headed towards Chile Chico/ Argentina and wanted to bring it to us, that would be amazing.

When we stayed here three pigs ( one female and two male) with her 11 youngsters lived here. Just to know for travellers with a tent.

Great spot for the night, mostly hidden from the road, you can hear some traffic but it’s not a lot. We had some friendly visitors - a dog and 3 big pigs with dozen of little ones. Two workers arrived next morning around 9:30 but just said hi and were very surprised to see us. We climbed the rocks and can confirm - sunset is amazing!

we stopped at this point at night, spent a quiet night there. in the morning we found the area very pretty, sheltered from the wind with a view of the lake. Perfect.

Really nice spot with a lot of space. Close to the road but protected by trees. Climb on the big rock in front of you and you'll have a wonderful sunset ! If you go to the right of the area you'll have a beautiful view on the lake (and we had a wonderful sunrise), but it's less protected from the wind.

We stayed here for one night with another 4 RV’s.
Flat areas, wind protection, nice views, peaceful and starry night and 3G Entel coverage. What more will you want for a wild camping?

Beautiful spot. Quiet with perfect wind protection and beautiful views of the lake. One request to all people: please don't throw your toilet paper on the ground or in the bushes. Take it with you instead and throw it in the bin somewhere. Thx!

A large meadow with a lot of tree stumps and dead wood. Mostly hidden from the road by trees and bushes and very quiet during the night. In addition, decent wind protection and a nice view towards Lago General Carrera. Some pre made fire pits are available.

Nice and sheltered place with lots of space and great views over the lake and to the mountains. Ground was a bit soggy and there was lots of cow manure but it was ok.

Arrived just before sunset and had the place to myself, but definitely room for multiple wild camps. Still plenty of wood and a couple of nice fire pits around. A few bugs but not bad. Great place to wake up and enjoy the views before heading to Chile Chico.

GREAT place to spend the night. Many spots to park your car or pitch a tent. Climb the rocks for some more beautiful views. Making a fire was easy with so much wood around.

this is the Paradise spot for wild camping. Views are amazing, sheltered from wind, lot of wood for camp fires. A must stop to camp overnight, best wild camp we encountered so far.

Very nice place to stay overnight or just for a lunchbreak. Grass, trees, wind protection, nice view and quietness just beside the road.

Partially cleared area with wind protection all around. Between mountain side and towering rock cliffs next to lake. Right next to the road but thick brush and trees block the view from the road for large campers or several tents, and it was quiet overnight. Beautiful views of the lake. We got water from a river a few kilometers in the direction towards Puerto Tranquillo. Perfect spot. (Warning: don't park or camp directly under the trees - it was windy overnight and a huge limb fell about 10 meters from our tent.)
