Description

Rest area right off of I-90. Has some picnic tables, clean restrooms, and a little walking area with views of the mountains. There are 'no camping' signs but as with all Montana rest areas you are able to sleep in a vehicle. Noise is moderate as expected being just off the highway.

Report Check-In

Entrance is blocked and a big sign says closed. Don't know if it's temporary or if they are shutting it down permanently.

Report Check-In

Currently closed. Completely blocked off with cones. Not sure why.

Report Check-In

Packed with vehicles. Some big rig spots available.

Report Check-In

Very busy with traffic noise, which I appreciate vs intermittent disruptions to the quiet. Plenty of fellow boondockers.

Report Check-In

Good place for a night or two. Wouldn’t stay much longer

Report Check-In

No camping signs near the building. I didn’t want to camp right in front of those signs. I guess folks are camping in the RV/truck area away from the building, but I didn’t want to risk it.

Report Check-In

Not much to add to the other reviews. It's super convenient, and small. If you have a trailer, there are a few places to park. Better for a van or car. I pulled in about 8pm on a Saturday and got my pick of spots...It's a bit noisey, but less than I was expecting.

Report Check-In

Small and a little loud, but good for a night.

this is in town. so nice views of the mountains, but also target and first national bank. lots of amenities around. rei and sports warehouse just down the road. it was busy and noisy but it worked for us just passing through.

Report Check-In

The beauty of Montana rest stops are that you can sleep in your vehicle/RV in them. This makes it very convenient. This particular rest stop is much smaller (for cars/RVs without trailers - trucks and RVs with trailers have a separate section) than the last one I stayed. As such, I am closer to the building so there is more noise. No issue since I am staying for free, however I would recommend stopping at the larger rest stops so you can tuck away in a corner/be farther away from building. Didn’t use facilities.

Report Check-In

Rest stop with clean restrooms. There are only few parking spots so make sure to come early. We came at 10:30 pm and only one spot was left
