Stayed here one night. Very cool pretty but also popular with limited spaces to park. The road “Coleman Boundry/Dillingham ends at a gate and just before this on the right is a parking area by the river, 3 vans and 2 cars were here last night so it is popular. We turned down Ranger Road and noted another spot on the left just after the turn (also occupied ) and another roadside pull off about 1/2 km down the road with 3 vehicles parked there. After this the road is private. We also noted areas along the road with signs on trees saying no camping . Not sure if they are legit
Anyway nice peaceful spot
There is a road going into the national forest that curves around and then a small road on the left that curves around into a small dirt parking lot. I slept here two nights with no problems.
Report Check-InI’ve parked in the parking lot a couple of nights with no problems. There is a road that goes into the national forest and curves around, then a small turn off on the left and a small gravel parking lot.
Report Check-InIn what looks like a dirt lot. No one here, beautiful sound of a nearby stream. but no fire pit at this spot. a mile down the road has a spot with a fire pit, but it was taken.
Report Check-InDue to extensive road damage, the road leading into the Big Ivy is closed and barricaded off. There is a small parking area just to the right (south) of the barricades. You can still bike and hike up from there. No signs indicating a time limit for parking.
Report Check-InOur plan B spot, as the road is closed about 200 yards up from this site. It's a nice spot next to a creek, but not very private. We had another vehicle pull in around midnight. It was nice having breakfast next to the stream in the morning. My wife (claims she) saw a river otter!
