WE stopped 100m before AT éléphant rock wich Is Aldo a nice place. quiet night no issue. nice View

Report Check-In

Good spot to spend only the night. Because during the day, a continuous stream of people make a stop here to admire the view, especially in the weekend.

Report Check-In

Awaken to fog rolling in and rolling out. To the roaring hush of the ocean! Glorious!

As said - awesome spot. Room for 3 vans or cars, 4 at most. Super view. Very quiet. Love the big rocks!

Report Check-In

Stayed 1 night in a Toyota Rav4. Two pullouts right next to each other along the large rocks, right off of the road. My GPS brought me right to this location. 1 other car in larger pullout overnight, I stayed in the smaller area. Hooting Owl and some Coyote yips through the night. traffic was slow until around 6:00am.
The view in the morning was so beautiful, a farm and lush land leading up to the ocean where you can see cresting waves.
Unfortunately, there was some trash but not too bad.

Report Check-In

This morning the Sheriff came and told us it’s not allowed to park at the lower elevated spot on the left as it is privat land. But the rest of the area is fine

Large pullout near Dillon Beach with room for several rigs, but I fortunately had it all to myself. A few kids showed up to watch sunset but other than that, no other people. No shelter from the road so there was some noise, but it was pretty quiet between midnight and about 6am. Overall a good, quiet, safe spot.

The larger pullout is marked “Elephant Rock” on google maps. We stayed there for one night. It is as described. Very cool rock formations with some little paths leading up to the rancher’s property line/fence. Nice and remote.

Report Check-In

Just as described. Rocky plateau: pull out, room enough for 4-5 vehicles. Another smaller pullout adjacent, room only for 1 vehicle. Great view! QuiET.

Report Check-In

This spot are actually 2 pull outs. One is smaller right next to the road which is pretty hard to level and would only accommodate a suv or small van. The other one is a pretty large pull out which actually has 2 levels. On the east side it slopes down where you can find a spot which has room for 2 vans, is level, grassy and pretty much out of sight. I stayed on the big pull out itself which is easy to level, is in sight, no traffic at night (dead end road to Dillon Beach), amazing views and is half packed sand and half granite rock. No honkers, no annoying youth and no one seemed to mind. Traffic starts at around 730. You are pretty far away from the road; my opinion the best spot to stay on this whole area because the campground on Dillon is a capitalist $¥!| hole. Stayed here in 2019 as well and since then no signs. Can get really foggy and/or windy so mind the forecast!

Report Check-In

Nice large pullout, eerie / foggy all night, very windy, but good place to stop well off the road. Group of 3 loud vehicles showed up 20 minutes after we arrived & parked inches away from us (so rude!) Luckily place was big enough for us to move over & get some place.
