Report Check-Indo not park here. i got woken up by a cop middle of the night telling me to leave!
Report Check-InStayed one night to get an early start on the hike. The flame and waterfall were a highlight of the trip and the sleep spot was level and felt safe. Happy travels :)

Very well marked trail can even be walked after the sunsets! I found the waterfall but not the flame — but the super-quiet night’s sleep in the large lot made up for it. Recommended!
Report Check-InVery large lot with a clean portapottie. No signs for no overnight parking, but the trailhead sign does say the trail closes at dusk. We stayed with no issues.
Would definitely recommend hiking down to the eternal flame falls. There's a natural gas pocket that creates a 6 inch flame inside the waterfall!
wide trailhead parking for Eternal flame falls with potapottie
