Description

Its an hotel but they let you camp by the beach on a grassy spot. Doña Camila y Don Jorge know about traveling, they will welcome you warmly. The price includes access to water, shower, toilets, pool, hamocs and longchairs by the beach. You can probably ask for electricity also. Safe and quiet. There is also a restaurant, but we didnt try. Its located at about 15km from Cojimi -simple fishermen's village- and about 20km from Pedernales. They have a bunch of dogs, so be careful with food left outside. There is a spot for bunfires and parrilladas, with plenty of wood brought by the sea. Worth a few days to relax!

We ask for Camping with our small rig but the owner said it't not longer possible to Camp here. He send us to the place 3 km from here heading Pedernales (Hostal Cañaveral)

It was alright. Not the nicest part of the coast in our opinion [definitely no white sand]. Bit of rubbish on the beach. They don't want cars parked right near beach, so we were on the grass - with tons of biting ants.

Facilities are run down. Couldn't find non-salty water. Wifi slow and sometimes non-existent. $5pp or $10pp with breakfast [we didn't try it]. Not a bad place, but not the best either. We didn't get access to power.

Absolute beachfront, under the palms. White sand. Parking on grass. Prettiest part of the coast we've seen. We ran electricity through the window of an empty room (15m cable required). WiFi now available, but painfully slow (pw: 1234PALMERA). $4 pp pn. The facilities were... basic. (look out for frogs in the shower!). The constant breeze seemed to keep most of the bugs away.

Beware: we ended up with a lot of ants in our rig after 2 nights here. Bring bug spray!

Big rigs will struggle in the narrow driveway, and squeezing past/under the clotheslines and trees.
