Road closed for access as of 6/13/2024. Paid campsites only are open.
There are many many dispersed campsites on the road past the developed campgrounds. They can all be reached with basically any vehicle and vary in size from tent sites to those supporting large rigs. This one is a fairly large area that could support a big trailer and it has a good view and it is walkable to the creek with a fire ring. There is no picnic table obviously, no water or dump, and there’s also no cell service for AT&T or Verizon but it is a beautiful spot. Enjoy
