Latest Check-Ins
To import the car with Evergreen there are 4 phases:
1 get a print of the delivery order/BOL from the office in Colon or Panama 40 USD
2 arrange the insurance; we paid 25USD for a pickup camper at Seguros FEDPA in Panama
3 get your Temporary Import Permit from the aduana in Colon
4 get your car from the Colon Container Terminal: 40 feet container, 1 car 350 USD (ask for Adrian at the entrance)
The advantage of already doing point 1 and 2 a day ahead is that you have more time to get your car released from the harbour. All the relevant locations are in the iOverlander map.
