Description

there are some restaurants at the end of the beach, saw the sign of tortugeiros (now it's called Muun, what mean sacred earth) in the highway and stopped here. super beautiful sunset, bought a couple 9f expensive beers only.
wanted do camp in the van but there was so many mosquitoes and sand flies we ended up setting the tent. (sandflies from 6pm-7pm, better hide, but afterwards they are gone)
a bit of trash in the trees
good cellphone signal

Latest Check-Ins

There is a small hotel before the the restaurant, onky has 4 rooms I think. I parked in front of it. The hotel gardener Miguel asked for 100 pesos to leave the lights on and watch the car, I was okay with it. He offered water but there was no water coming out of a tap.Lots is mosquitoes, maybe some sand flies too. You can hear the noise behind the trees. Some small snakes in the woods here. Huge beach, a little dirty but much cleaner the ones we’ve seen so far.

We had a peaceful nights sleep here. Be sure you park well before you get to the resort and you’ll be fine. The caretaker came over in the morning and everything from the beach palapa to the resort is private but we were free to stay anywhere else. There are a few level spots here right on the beach with a lovely view. There are garbage cans around as well.
We didn’t eat or drink at the restaurant but it looks like a nice place to relax in the shade.

This place is called Muun now. The owner Johnny is genuinely lovely person. True, the restaurant is a bit expensive, but just go there and talk to the people, they let you stay for free in the parking (very nice parking with some shade too) . They also have toilets and showers you can use. The place is incredibly beautiful!
