Description

In the notoriously van-unfriendly Flagstaff, we were nervous about parking on city property overnight. We have it a shot anyway and had no issues. The park is beautiful, very dark & quiet at night (people arrive here early in the AM, tho) and has incredibly clean bathrooms. Good spot to crash in Flagstaff if you want solid cell signal to work or something.

Bonus water bottle filling station near the bathrooms.

Report Check-In

quiet parking area outside of Buffalo Park. Only 3 people here last night. Parked in gravel area along forest. no one bothered me. Picked up 46 local tv channels with antenna. good cell signal also.

Report Check-In

someone shot my van twice last night at about 2 am while I was parked on the street outside the park. be advised. reported to police. there were several rigs here but i was the only one targeted. there are no overnight parking restrictions on the street here.

Report Check-In

If people keep showing up in huge campers obviously charging solar outside all day the locals will get the cops to shut down. Be at least somewhat stealthy if you want this place left alone and for goodness sake’s don’t park in the main parking lots where signs are up for no camping

Report Check-In

Stayed outside the main parking area where there is a sign that says no overnight parking. Before u enter on the right there is parking, stayed there for 2 nights no issue. Great cell service, dark and quiet at night.

Report Check-In

new sign saying no camping or overnight camping
