Zambia
The "Kasama Lodge" belongs to the government. Big Rigs up to about 8m in length, which do not fit into the "Thorn Tree Lodge", can "camp" here in the parking lot. (200 kwacha for 2 people and vehicle). We stayed 3 nights. Toilets and showers can be used (we didn't need them). Staff and reception very friendly. During the day, certain vehicle traffic on the road and at the lodge. Absolutely quiet at night. Eating possible at the Thorn Tree Lodge across the street.

Nice cheap parking space inside the site. Two persons and vehicle 250 ZK. No facilities but quiet.
Report Check-InVery cheap accommodation, paid 220 kwacha for a room with ensuite bathroom, bar fridge, double bed, kettle, couch and coffee table.
We had a chips and chicken dinner for 60kwacha and nice cold Mosi.
Staff very friendly.
Its basic but the place is great value for money and good to over night between long distances.
There is also a shopright in town so you can stock up etc.
