---------------------

A pull-in/back in spot on the left side of wold rd once you pull off the main road (skate creed rd south). We fit our 26 ft camper van in this spot no problem — still had a good amount of room so you could fit some maybe a couple feet longer. We also had to use some leveling blocks, but not crazy horrible if you don’t have any. We were here on a weekend and it was crazy crowded so it was nice being off the busy road where tons of people were camping. Several smaller pull offs along this road, probably for smaller cars and maybe tent camping. We were wary about what spots were up for grabs, but there weren’t any “no camping” signs or “private property” marked anywhere along this small road. Another camper was parked at the very end of the road in the dead end and there were so many other people camping in the NF when we came I doubt they patrol it or care. No signal (Verizon). No toilets obviously other than good old Mother Nature and the forest she provides :)

Very nice and calm spot right next to a dead end road. Not a lot of space to park so it's more for cars or small campers. Lots of room on the woods to place one or ever more tents. There's also a pitfire. Planned to arrive early though. We were there at around 7pm on Friday and lots of cars where passing by to look fo this spot. Even the sheriff have passed by so it's definitely legal to be parked there but can be hard to find a spot if you arrived late.

Report Check-In

Stayed at the first small pull out on the left, did the job now that all the campgrounds in the park are closed for the winter season. Seems to be the closest spot to the entrance. There’s a bit of rubbish around so we didn’t spend much time outside the van. No one else came and we couldn’t hear any cars on the nearby road.

Report Check-In

Stayed at the end of the road/turn around. We picked up a lot of trash. Several trails. Sound of the river. Lot of broken glass so beware if you have dogs. Verizon has 1 bar.

Report Check-In

Spot was taken, so we stayed at the turnaround without problems. Make sure to leave enough space for other cars to turn around. Nobody passed by the whole night and morning but you never know.

Report Check-In

As described, we stayed at the dead end. There were a few fire rings with quite a bit of trash and shotgun shells strewn around. There were also a bunch of bones and two (deer?) skeletons nearby. But we had a quiet night.

Report Check-In

Good spot for a quick crash. Some garbage left by clueless idiots. Quiet

The spot at the GPS location doesn't match with description. We arrived in a very small spot just at the side of the road where you can fit maximum a 20feet van. We didn't stay and went futher on the road..

Great place to stay outside the park. There's one pull off right at the beginning of the road and a large space at the end. Kind of trashed but the forest back there is pretty.

Report Check-In

nice quiet dead end to crash for the night.

Great spot. Description below in size is accurate. Not entirely level but I was in a car so I didn't care. No other cars came by while I was awake. No ATT
