A bit out of the way. An experience. Ask to have a camp in the shade. Don't get put out in what I call "The hot pads." You won't have to ask for the deep discount, Carrol will make sure you can get it. Paid$17 for full hook-up in the Hot Pad. Nice place to regroup. Laundry$1, shower is clean, tons of books, DVDs, pool table. Great bird watching.

Went without reservation and was refused. Need a reservation and two nights minimum
Report Check-InSuper nice owner indeed. $15 for no hookup site. Includes free hot shower (note they only have one shower and one toilet). Laundry is cheap at $1. Free drinks in the fridge. I stayed in my truck camper with roof top tent. You can hear the highway traffic all night long, but it is muffled enough that it sort of becomes white noise. Definitely not “quiet”. But I would still stay again when needing a place to overnight in the area.
