Description

located almost as far west as you can go on Jaco beach inbetween the hotel and the beach under almond & palm trees for plenty of shade. Next to a small playground on beach. Safe, hotel security out at night. Quiet all night, few people out at night but was a beautiful calm quiet evening. Room for big rigs. 2 buisness up there is a formal fenced in campground lot, blue wall, tons of shade- named Mango Grove I believe, they have baños and duchas for rent 500/1000. Tiki bar and rest close by, but quiet or to far to hear. Did I mention Free :-) and open free Wifi.

Spend one night exactly on the coordinates indicated and can’t recommend. Would be 100 times better 50m away on the other parking spot. Lots of people all night long on the street on a Friday night. No one bothered us but hard to close your eyes when there’s always movement and noise around.

Spent a night here, lot of people during the day, no one at night, free shower.

Belle nuit tranquille ici au bord de la magnifique plage de Jaco. Surf débutant, eau chaude, douches de plage, couchers de soleil sublimes. 3-4 places de stationnement au bout du cul de sac et quelques endroits en parallèle en bord de rue.

Beautiful quiet night here at the edge of the beautiful beach of Jaco. Beginner surfing, hot water, beach showers, stunning sunsets. 3-4 parking spaces in a dead end and some parallel places on the street.

Spent 3 quiet nights. No problem. Lots of people until sunset, but few after that, and none after 8ish..

We stayed here for 3 weeks since we had an issue with one our dogs. Great and quiet place at night. A bit loud on the weekends but good overall. Police patrols every night. Felt safe

Arrivals at the roundabout at the beach level can not be larger on the left but on the right. No problem with a 24 feet. We just went for the day while waiting for our linen to be ready but we could have done so much night.

Good place and quiet, next to the beach, under construction now to make it accessible with wheelchair but even the workers quiet at night. Open wifi at the corner of the road and can fill water tank at the petrol station nearby on the road. Totally recommend stayed one week.

great surfing spot. toilets and showers nearby for 500 / 1000 colones. saw some Aras. wifi from tiki bar still works. stayed 10 days, then we were already 4 vans and police said we have to move on because somebody complained. usually police patrols the spot very regularly and often. we chatted with them and they were friendly. they might ask you for your ID and write it down. told us its ok to stay for 2-3 days when keeping low profile.
one night one patrol woke us up and checked ID in the night and they were quite rude. they also checked one other van and were asking for guns, drugs and ID. so be aware, if you stay longer you might have to deal with police in some way. could be just positive but we usually dont have luck with that

One of the more beautiful beach of Costa Rica, is perfect for learn to surf, we spend here 2 weeks, you can use the toilet from “Jacó Walk” (15 min walking), and the water from the gasoline station. We meet with other travelers here, finally we were 4 cars jaja, was very good days.
Caution: the guys from Surf school don’t like the travelers, definitive are not people friendly, all the time using bad words to us, but you can parking to the other corner ;)
WiFi is working with the same pass.

We spent 3 nights here, sort of we were down the end of the parking lot next to the tiki bar because the wifi from there reached the van and it was nice to be connected for a few days and catch up. It was super chill a few people in the morning and afternoon but it was quiet all night.
The network for the tiki bar is Laguna guest and you need to type Jacolaguna for access. I've worded it this way because passwords are not allowed haha.
Toilets in the tiki bar also and probably water if you ask but we were only there for three days so didn't run out.

Definitively a beautiful place to spend a few days!

Stopped for lunch. Nice spot. Lots of people around. The tiki restaurant is pricey... cheapest lunch is a $6 grilled cheese sandwich. Cooked my own lunch instead while parked. Other restaurants are a bit of a hike away
