Arrived here around 5:30 pm on a Saturday and reception was closed. Walked around looking for someone in charge but nowhere to be found. Other campers told us they may return later, the wifi wasn't working and as a local they were paying 1500 ars pp. The gate was locked and we ended up sleeping in our camper in the parking lot and did the Laguna Escondido hike in the morning (pretty and took 1.5 hours return). A guy walked by a couple times that appeared to work there but never approached us. Kind of odd but was a quiet and safe place in the parking lot for the night. Guessing they don't care much if it's off season.
Report Check-InThe campsite is open begin of nov. sun and shadow. We first walkt from the parking (200 m) to ask for a place with a truckcamper and space enough near the restaurant which was closed this time. Fast wifi at the reception and a bit slower at our place. Nice hot showers from sun boiler. very quiet, lots of birds.
Report Check-InCampground is closed, maybe for COVID, but you can camp in the parking area just before it, at the trailhead for the tree hike, there's a sign saying "camping".
Report Check-InNice campground with hot shower and clean bathrooms. small shop and small restaurant with pizza and sandwiches. Owner is kinda weird though. 400pp.
Report Check-InVery nice, clean, not too big, spots are private / quiet bc of the many trees. Great shower/bathroom. No wifi (owner: „wifi was last year“). Next to guardaparques oficinas. No entry for vehicles, tents only. 400 ppn.
Report Check-InPerfect place but expensive! 400 pp | also, the owner isn’t so nice ;)
Report Check-Incurrently closed. You still can walk the trail. The new owner told us, he will open on the first days of January and that the restaurant will re-open soon.

You can still walk the gorgeous Arrayanes-Trail besides the river

Closed now. Found some tents close to the beach. From here you can start an easy hike to visit just one Alerce. Beautiful!

400Arp pp
We were cycling in and out is a bit of a trek to get in on a bicycle.
Shop with necessities and restaurant.
Young owner/manager friendly and speaks English
Off-season. The gate is closed and locked. While you could walk down with a tent, there is no way through for vehicles. Because we arrived late, the rangers allowed us to park on a grassy parking in front of the gate, which was fine because we wanted to walk the trails in the morning.
Report Check-InThis place is located inside the Parque Nacional Los Alerces. Entrance fee for the park 250 ARS per person. No pets allowed.
Report Check-InNice camping, but price is now 180pp and 90 for kids older than 5, so we didn't stay and go for a "wild" night 😉
Report Check-InCamp in park next to river, small beach. To reach it you must go passed the parking/camping sign through the gate with a sign describing the walk starting from the camping with a no camping symbol. Grassy, with trees around. Some 30 pitches, but only 2 for campers. Hot showers 24 hours. Small shop. Quite well built and maintained. Slow wifi. Bar and restaurant serving pizzas and sandwiches. ARS 240 (2 adults, camper). We paid ARS 120 per person when entering the park from the south (last Sunday of March). When we left at the north side we did not come across a park entrance checkpoint, so entrance from that side would have been for free.
