Very well sleep , no concern at all, was alone on the cliff, so great landscapes and vue on the falls… no sade. Made the road very slowly with my sprinter van 2wd and it was very fine

Report Check-In

Is closed now!

If you come from highway 93 on the Golf Course Road there are signs now that the park are only allowed to use from dawn to dusk.

Report Check-In

Take the road easy, I have a hitch for my bike that hit barely a couple of times. Just go slow. Large grasshopper things here and the view is nice.

Report Check-In

Only recommended for raised 4x4 vehicles. Golf Course Road is paved, but anything outside of that (side roads for dispersed camping) are all dirt roads with huge divots and big boulders.
If you are able to get through this mess, views are great.

Report Check-In

Update. Cops came by to inform us that it’s day use only. Signs will be posted soon.

Report Check-In

Incredible views. Amazing to pull in and have our choice of epic pullouts. Don’t think twice definitely worth pulling in early and soaking it in. Got hit by bad allergies when we got here tho.

Report Check-In

Truly an epic spot! It was a windy evening but the views were so worth it. Great cell service. There were probably 5 other vans around in the distance but it was quiet. There was a small fire pit at our site but it was way too windy to use it. Unfortunately, the falls were only lit up from 6/3-6/12, but it was still so beautiful it didn’t even matter.

Report Check-In

Epic spot next to the cliff, really nice spot (a bit of a journey to get to it, washboard road and pretty bumpy - but just drive slow, you don’t need 4 wheel drive to get there). Quite a few people parked/camping out there, but enough room to go around for sure. Highly recommend if you are looking for off grid camping.

Report Check-In

Great T mobile and Verizon coverage. No utilities, not even a fire pit, and the road is horrible, but the view is unreal and the spot seems very safe.

Report Check-In

Came back just as the sun was setting. The road is a bit rough but if you take it slow its not bad. Luckily it was very dry when i came. There ws already someone parked back here at the very end but there are multiple spots all around the area with room to spread out snd be private. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they project lights onto the falls at night and I sat back in my bed and watch the show until i passed out. This is an amazing, photo-worthy spot and I would absolutely stay hear again.

Report Check-In

Really epic spot. Great views. Rough road in but should be doable in any van.

Report Check-In

Arrived very late after a long day of driving, so I pulled out approximately .3 miles from the marked location with the intention of hopping out and stretching my legs to catch the view. The road was intimidating in the dark even though I’m driving my 2000 Subaru Outback. Very convenient to the Highway, even if you are staying on 84. Excellent LTE signal on AT&T. A few minutes drive to Twin Falls and multiple large travel stops in either direction nearby if you need to use restroom facilities before bed or early in the morning.

Report Check-In

Beautiful spot, all as described. Quiet, lovely views.

Report Check-In

Really enjoyed the spectacular view for two nights. The road in is rough with deep potholes and sticking up rocks and steep to the left and right, but my tundra and 24 foot travel trailer made it just fine going slow. At the GPS spot are three sites on the left. I can only get into the middle sight with my travel trailer because you can hardly turn around to back in. The road does go all the way around in a circle but it’s rough going.

Verizon cell service isn’t very good but it’s doable. Lots of amplified road noise from the 93 that doesn’t stop all night long👎

The view is epic and spectacular.

Arrived on a Friday night as the only one there but a van showed up at dusk and another car showed up after dark. A car drove by at 11 PM and 2 AM.

On Saturday night I had two car campers and a small bus with at least five young children next to me. At dusk we were buzzed by one of those lawnmower engines fly in a seat thing that was really cool.

At about midnight a car drove into my campsite it’s self at least 3 feet from my truck to try and get to the edge, obviously they couldn’t so they had to go back through my campsite and then took forever for them to find a place to stay for the night. I would like to state it is rude to come in after dark.😖 they all had a pile out of the car and stomp around with loud voices and flashlights on their head for at least 30 minutes. Five young guys.

At 8 AM nine people walked by with 15 very large dogs taking a hike in speaking loudly….The five young man walked by with packs on their back so I think they were jumping off the cliff.

Would only stay again if there was no other place because it really was noisy

Great spot, can get windy tho.

No 4x4 or high clearance needed for most spots.

Parked right in front of the Evel Knievel ramp, amazing.

2x4 gmc cargo van.

Report Check-In

this is an awesome spot! so close to town for exploring & you have an amazing view of the snake river. there are plenty of spots (even cliff side for views) so no need to crowd each other. if you continue down this main road, there are many different pull offs you can take to various spots. i stayed here for a few nights and had two different people drive in after dark and park right next to me or shine their lights on me - don't be that person. if you get in late, there are several spots right when you pull of the main road and you can find a better spot in the morning. also the road is pretty rocky and sandy in spots so navigate carefully if you don't have 4wd like me. enjoy!

Report Check-In

Stayed 9/7/21 night. Road in is pretty rutted and very silty/dusty right now. But we made it with off road tires and only 2WD. Also a ~30’ RV made it (see pics) down the road so I would think anyone can make it. Very quiet, 4 other vehicle campers. Full Xfinity mobile bars and 2-3 bars t-mobile. The views on the cliffs are awesome.

Report Check-In

Such an epic spot. Stayed for two nights. Arrived on a Thursday around 10 am and the place was empty until 3pm. I had one neighbor on both sides. But still quiet. The next day (Friday) they left and I was alone until about 7pm. Got quite busy but only maybe 5 vehicles. Even a bus.

Be careful for glass. It’s gets pretty rocky driving in and out but I don’t have 4 wheel drive and drive a Promaster and was able to do it. On the way out, I did see a sprinter stuck in the sand however. Said he been there all night. Yikes.

4G Verizon and a few bars sprint.

Report Check-In

This place is everything and more. The road in is a little “Rocky” but we managed fine with our 2wheel drive Sprinter Van. It is less than 1/4 mile to the camp area. Dispersed camping no fire rings or tables but the most spectacular views of Shoshone Falls. This is a must stop place and we will be back

Report Check-In

Great place to stay! Lots of dirt roads with plenty of places to park. Road is bumpy in some places so high clearance was nice to have. View was great!

Report Check-In

Such a great spot. (Tacoma w/ rooftop tent)
We were passing through a bit late (11:30pm) great spot not far off the main road, easy to navigate in the truck but be cautious if you’re in a car. Sites are spread out and there were only two others there on a Friday night. Attached a few photos. Will stay again if coming through to enjoy it more.

Report Check-In

Chickened out with our Class C, as the paths have eroded out quite a bit already so we parked halfway in. But the views are stellar and it is a quiet sleep

Report Check-In

Gorgeous, desolate spot. Dry and hot during the day, cool and super windy at night (tonight at least). The cliff is indeed EPIc as are the views of the falls and the water below. We saw kayakers in the snake river and hikers on the slope across the river. We plan to do the hike from town tomorrow. The road is a little worse for the wear these days. We took it super slow in our old old Subaru Forester. I think a low clearance vehicle would have a tough time

Report Check-In

Cool spot off the Highway overlooking cliffs and a river. FYI the dirt road getting out there is quite bumpy and rough, we were worried about getting stuck in the mud but ultimate made it

Report Check-In

Cool spot off the Highway overlooking cliffs and river. FYI the dirt road is quite rough and muddy, we were worried about getting the van stuck in the mid after a rainstorm

Report Check-In

Not at exact location. But real close. Just as described in comments. Road is a bit rough. Stay on high parts of road. Not advised if rainy or wet unless having a 4x4.

Report Check-In

Absolutely beautiful. Set up the tent right by the canyon’s edge. Road was tough for a VW Beetle, just cause the car is low. Most suv’s and above should make it easy. Just go slow. Watch for cow pies as you walk!

Report Check-In

Can confirm. Spot is epic. So close to town and a great view of the falls. Great for one night. We arrived late in the afternoon to avoid the heat.

Report Check-In

Track coming in can be a little daunting. We followed google maps to the coordinates in our 2WD Ford Transit camper with A/T tires. Track does have a few inches of dust/sand in places so take it slow but keep some momentum so as to not get stuck in the sand. Beautiful views!

Report Check-In

Yes and yes!! Have Sienna and went less than 5 miles per hr - very very rough road but less than 1/2 mile and going super slow seemed ok. Only 2 other cars- very far apart- I got there at 10pm and when I woke up in am had whole abyss to myself- no shade — very beautiful

Report Check-In

Rough roads but nothing unmanageable. My van handled it just fine, just go slow. Pretty dusty, no shade, but the views are spectacular. Only a few others here on a Friday, everyone respected the space.

Report Check-In

Arrived a couple hours before sunset on a Friday. We are in a Class B RV (big van, bad clearance) and we made it in just fine, going slow. There was one other van when we got here and a couple more that arrived later, but plenty of space to park away from each other. The sunset was beautiful and the view from the cliff is fantastic. We slept great, there are some distant sounds of traffic but very muted. Decent 5G service with Google Fi. Only drawback is there doesn't seem to be an easy way down to the river below.

Report Check-In

Epic epic spot. Here with three other sprinters. You don’t need 4x4 but watch for ruts and holes. Drive slow. Super quiet and peaceful

Report Check-In

Amazing views of Shoshone Falls. AWD is not needed to get here. A few decent pull offs on the rim edge. At&t 4 bars. Quiet away from city/road noise, great sounds of the falls below.

Report Check-In

Gorgeous view of the snake River below. Forewarning, it can get really windy at night and the dirt road is very fine silt. We woke up covered in dirt. The wind had blown the fine dirt thru the mesh of your tent even with our rain fly on. Otherwise a rad free spot to camp for the night.

Report Check-In

a dirt road turn off, lots of ruts, but well worth it! beautiful view of the city at night, gorgeous sunset and the view over the rim and of shoshone falls was over the top! plus a great sunrise

Report Check-In

Amazing campsite! Parked our rigs right next to the canyon rim with beautiful view of Shoshone Falls.

Report Check-In

Great spot for a good night’s sleep. Gorgeous cliff overlooking two cascade areas. This side of the Snake river is undeveloped, with several areas to pull off the main road. This is one of my favorites. There are dispersed camping signs as you come in from HWY 93. You don’t need 4x4 for this site, just drive slowly, as some parts of the road are slanted. Enough space for RV, although I’d recommend scoping out other pull outs. No shade or large trees. Clean area/little trash. Very quiet at night, no street lights. Town nearby for your necessities.
