Very nice little parksite on trailhead to the "Mirador Bañadero Del Condor". Great view into the Canyon and to the little village Toro. Very quite.
Dry toilet.
I saw three condors in the evening and in the morning again, soaring around. What else you need?
Rough road from both side, I was coming from down the canyon, worth driving it... probably a bit narrow for the biggest rigs! Not a big problem coming from top until this point, than you could decide going down the canyon further on, you'll see almost the whole track into the canyon...
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
The walking track starts just opposite of the small parkinglot. It is an easy 400m walk to the mirador. From there you an see the Toro valley on one side and an unhabitated valley on the other side. We saw two condors at 9:30 in the morning soaring up.
Report Check-InLovely view - definitely take the walk to the Mirador if coming past. The parking spot only fits one regular size vehicle. It's directly beside a very dusty road. Great spot if you are acclimatizing but if you can handle the puna we recommend the transmission tower camp.
Report Check-Inawesome!! best views i ever had from an outhouse:-) might be tight for big rigs.
