Beautiful campground very clean. Host on site cost free. Beautiful lake. I came in with a 21 foot class c motorhome and a 1987 Fiero. Roads in were great.
2 week maximum stay
Great spot! Really great facilities. Picnic tables, lake access, fire rings. No electricity or reception. Busy spot - first in first served. You can be there for 14 days in a year. We stayed one night. It was a good spot (a little busy but so worth it).
Report Check-InBeautiful free campsite! It was so nice we ended up extending our stay here. Around 20 sites with pit toilets, bins, picnic tables and fire rings. We arrived on Wednesday ahead of the long weekend and manage to grab one of the last sites - first come first serve.
Report Check-Inpretty busy on a Wednesday at the start of season but we got a spot at 5pm. very pristine so less 'wild' than some other rec sites and our site was not overlooking the lake. ok for 1 night as it had bins, clean toilets etc. free!

Report Check-InBeautiful campground. Yes it’s free. Being the Thanksgiving weekend we were lucky to get one of two sites left. There are 20 sites (not 40), plus the campground host. 1st come first serve
Report Check-InGreat site, were able to grab a spot midweek late in the evening. Gate was closed but not locked, be aware of that. And Google maps may navigate you to a closed entrance. Check photos for correct way in.
Report Check-Incame here because we had to leave Buttle Lake that was all reserved . Didn't loose to change. Very nice and clean campground. Free. Outhouse better than Buttle Lake campground. Arrived here at 11h00 and 3 sites available. Full at 12h00. Free. Boat ramp.
Report Check-InEnded up staying here after finding a few other rec sites were full, managed to find a relatively private spot w short access to a bloody beautiful lake - suited my purpose as i had work to do on my car & the ground was very level
Report Check-InBeautiful free camp site. Clean pit toilets, bins and access to the lake for swimming. Ended up staying 2 nights as it was so lovely!
Report Check-In10/10 so surprised this place was free. 21 sites and overflow parking. outhouses and garbage bins
Report Check-Inreally brilliant camp site and wansnt busy at all when we arrived where the buttle lake prov site was fully booked.
lake water is warm, a fisherman said it was 20°c in places so it's brilliant for swimming.
only issue I have is the amount of signs, I've never seen so many signs, it's like the sign Forrest on the way to Alaska. So, if you don't like signs, don't come here.
Absolutely beautiful campground with very clean pit toilets. There are spots with a amazing view over the lake and the mountains. You can get firewood there for free. No cell service.
It’s a really wonderful campground and the best thing is that it’s free 🤩
