very quaint little free spot near the border of Texas. extremely pretty if ya hop the fence and go climb a little hill/sand dune to overlook the lake. sunny, everyone else that was there kept to themselves, and large enough space to accommodate any sized rig. awesome little find!

the bathroom resembles a crime scene, but otherwise it's pretty quiet and there's a nice view of the lake
Report Check-Invery nice free camping. nice lake view. Very little to no traffic noise from the main road.
Report Check-InWOW! What a treat for driving 150 miles through private land! Camping is allowed, nice paved parking lots, clean pit toilets, fire pits, picnic benches that have shade. The reservoir is beautiful and surrounded by trees. No water spigot. 2 bars service on Google Fi.
Report Check-InExcellent free campground with paved road and vault toilets. Campsites along lake shore with picnic tables and fire rings.
Report Check-InNice free campground on the shore of a lake. There are no established sites but multiple strips of grass with picnic tables and fire pits where you can pitch a tent and a stand of trees that should be able to take a hammock. I arrived on a dark night and it was near impossible to see much beyond the road. It was quiet aside from occasional truck noise from a nearby highway (as long as you as you consider the roar of frogs, chorus of crickets, and the chiming in of birds and cows quiet).
There are pit toilets stocked with TP and a dumpster for trash. There is not a large turn around at the end of the road so anyone towing a long camper may have trouble.
update: there are two sections to this area. The first, reached by taking a left turn just after passing the cattle guard, has additional bathrooms, a nice turn around, picnic tables and fire pits, but is not directly adjacent to the lake.
