Description

Moses, your host here, asks that you WhatsApp him ahead of arrival. +52 993 134 9803. Current camping price is 350 pesos as of Feb ‘22

It is a private land with a lot of space to maneuver, it has a palapa, meat grill, bathrooms, soccer field, it is 15 minutes from the capital Villahermosa, there is a supermarket nearby, many trees and surrounded by nature, the place is very safe and with plenty of space if you travel with pets.

campground next time highway (loud bring ear plugs) with no hookups. However, loving grounds and toilet area.

350 peso seems high with no hookups but there are not many choices along the route to Yucatan. we stated one night and basically dry camped.

the host is a lovely man and very help and kind.

Our second time staying here. 350 pesos per night. Nice, cold showers. It’s pretty hot and humid around that area, and lots of mosquitos. Moses is super nice and there are 3 dogs but they put them away because we also have 3 dogs. Make sure to text him before you arrive. Maybe a day before, the day of and right before you get there because someone needs to open the gate for you. It’s next to the highway but we didn’t hear anything at night. It’s a beautiful and clean greenery space and feels safe. PS: entrance: the gate is yellow and has a jaguar drawing.

You need first to send a message to Moses so he can wait for you. Nice beautiful ranch full of trees and big space, we parked our teardrop between trees and spent the night. There are 3 friendly dogs and nice clean bathrooms. We were the only guests on mid week, payed $350 pesos for family of 3.

there are a lot of mosquitoes in October, and the power and water intakes are a little far from the trees. there is also noise from the highway, however nice and very secure, we would visit again.

Warning: On our way out we followed google maps directions and ended in a narrow one way dirt road that ends beside the highway... just don't take any dirt roads when you leave, seek for the pavement and ignore google maps on your way out.

large property, friendly dogs and staff. Road noise might be an issue tonight but we shall see.

Friendly owners. Friendly dogs. Some mosquitos but that's how every campground is on the coast. We set up our tent under the palapa area. Sink and refrigerator, lights. Continuous highway noise but otherwise very nice place. Call ahead.

As others have described. Lovely property, friendly owner (call him in advance on number listed in previous comments; he speaks English fluently and I believe also French). Four dogs on property, very friendly and no issues with my dog. Good cell signal (Telcel), clean washrooms, lots of space.

Using the gps coordinates on ioverlander, google maps took me on a massive detour to try and get here. Coming from Villahermosa It put me on the cuota (paid highway) and I had to circle back, taking an extra half hour and paying two tolls unnecessarily. If you message the owner he'll send you gps coordinates directly and they will take you to the right side road (parallel to highway). The entrance to the property is a bit obscured and, if you miss it, there's little space to turn around (completely impossible if you're bigger than a pickup). So, when approaching the gps marker, slow down!

Moses and Rodolpho have built an incredible campsite, community, and continue to restore this beautiful land. There are public showers, power, community kitchen with refrigerator and freezer. There’s even a soccer field where I played 6 v 6. They had a special dinner one night where a local butcher and chef created all sorts of pork dishes and had live music. This is not your typical camping ground. It is a unique experience you won’t find anywhere else.

Other accounts accurate as described. Very nice spot and dog friendly! There are four resident dogs here and they got along just fine with our two chocolate labs. However, one of the resident dogs is a counter stealer, so watch your food while preparing!! We would stay longer but have things to do.

Beautiful property. It has plenty of space for many or larger rigs. The biggest size limitation is the turn into the property off of the main road (I’ve attached photos). There is also a small hill under the overpass to drive under, but the height is maybe close to 3.5meters. There might be a different entrance and the owner responds to WhatsApp messages quickly, so I would contact him with questions if you have them. Large outdoor kitchen. Beautiful bathrooms. But…biggest clouds of the most aggressive mosquitos I’ve ever experienced! We would have liked to stay longer, but couldn’t deal with them. Also, right next to the highway, so it’s quite noisy with truck traffic at night.

350 pesos/night for two people and a dog.

We came here on a Saturday in our motorhome and camped directly at the finca. We were treated with live music and a delicious set menu (camarones on a tequila sauce), Saturdays only. Nice place. Wifi at the finca only. We were charged 250p/night.

effectivement Mac le propriétaire est très gentil, l'endroit est grand et très arboré mais ... le prix est passé à 350 pesos et c'est bien trop cher pour un espace privé sans douche, sans wifi (ok 4g telcel)...

First it is important to say that the entrance of this campground is really just before the sign, almost in the hotel entrance. Do not miss it. We did miss it and GPS brought us in a small backroad, to end up by the closed back gate closed with a chain. We contacted the phone number and the manager said that we needed to go back. Well we tried, but driving about a mile on reverse with the camping trailer was impossible in the tortuous road, at least for us. We were fortunate, the neighbours were there, and helped the Park Manager opening the gate by cutting the chain. It took about one hour to get to the camping site, so arrive early just in case. There were many dogs, and we were concerned with our own dogs. But once we were installed on the spot, we were not bothered at all and have a great night. We need to mention that the area is surrounded by trees, and at dinner time, a lot of bugs are hungry too. So bring hard Deet products for protection.
That night the bathrooms were closed. There was no water or electricity on our site. The manager kindly provided us electricity with extentions from the picnic shelter. Overall nice campground to sleep. The cost was $250 pesos.
