Report Check-Innot recommended for big rigs, you COULD probably get up there to the camping area, but the road is sketchy af. we've got a 40 foot bus and it was a hard pass for us.
Report Check-InSurprised to have found public land in this area, super peaceful during week, busy on weekends, dispersed camp spots or established camping area (free). Good signal, great view, really lovely place.
Report Check-InLarge open, Staging area, room for several rigs. We are here on Wednesday and plan to leave Friday morning. I imagine it may get pretty busy here on weekends with OHV traffic. Verizion and T Mobile is decent. So far nice and quiet. I'll update this entry with anything of note before we leave.
Update: Plenty of cars driving by and some dual-sport bikes. Nothing disturbing.
We walked around the area and there's a ton of trash, including an abandoned car. We went back to camp. So depressing. :(
Overnight it was super quiet.
We're moving this morning on to a hopefully better BLM site at Wailaki campground.
