Something not right?

Description

Some BLM land outside of Laughlin just off of AZ-68. Moderately rough gravel/old pavement road with a number of pullouts starting right off the highway. Should be passable for most cars (2WD fine) as long as you go slow, at least for the first 1.5 mi. We heard someone shooting near the road and there's lots of evidence of people shooting fairly recently all up and down the road along with a lot of other trash. A few other people camped out here and a couple trucks went by in the morning but mostly quiet. Big rigs could fit near the road and possibly further down, but limited turn around spots. Decent cell signal on Tmobile (3-4 bars). Could hear some burros braying at night!

just like others have said. Road is I. bad condition but passable if you go slow. Cars can be heard from the highway, not terrible. 3 bars 5G is what the phone says, I don't believe the 5G part.

Perfect, a huge space for several cars and RVs. Just another car. A bit windy. Beautiful view in the morning.

Nice place, very quiet, we drove up past a mining site and parked to the left in a slight turn out. Roads blocked by a mound of dirt to follow road thru.

Beautiful views.

un-maintained asphalt road with many deep potholes but not too awful if you go slow. I'm in a 2wd Chevy Van.

As far as I've seen there's really only room for rvs and such near the beginning of the road, you'll see it just don't plan on finding more spots beyond that if you're in an rv and driving in at night.

Three bars Verizon.

Can see and hear the hwy traffick but at night is negligible

Fair amount of debris on the ground probably not great for dogs running around plus there's two big caves/mines in the front which are almost certainly homes to some other animals so I would keep my pets away for that reason for sure. pic included.

Overall it's a decent/legal spot for a night or more.

stay safe yall I often think about my fellow travelers out there exploring like I am. I guess we're all looking for something, but whatever that is here's to hoping we find it🍻 if anything, within ourselves. 🙏

This BLM spit is right off of the old Route 66 Oarman Highway. It's a big ling gravel parking lot with room for about four 5th wheel or similar sized rigs. It was cold and windy four 14 days here. I had $4,000 worth of electronics and weapons atolen by locals that learned on fbook that I was in the hospital. This is a backward place that spends too much time on social media.

We are pulling a trailer and opted not to go too far down the road. We walked it later and yes asphalt is rough but doable going slow. We heard some shooting on our walk and maybe some dynamite blasting too nearer the mine. We had 1-4 bars of TMobile on and off. Was pretty windy here too.
