Small fee with a dropbox. First come first served. All sites have electricity (30A - and two sites with 50A) and water. Two shower houses - currently closed showers 5/11/2022
Basically deserted in the winter time - had the whole campground to myself.
Commodore Keith: this description must be for a different campground. This is a very large campground and both shower buildings were open.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Very nice camp spot with plenty of spots. Honor pay system. If GPS has you exit M street and then down 240th street, 240th is nothing but wet mud. Will get stuck if not 4WD or have mud terrains.
Report Check-InGreat location. As of May 1 rates are $16 with hookups and $10 without. First come type park but lots of sites to pick from. Well maintained.
Report Check-InShowers still closed as of April 14 still $7 tent and $10 regular site
Report Check-In8 minutes from the I-80. Very nice place, lots of camping spots. Only 10$ for a spot and you get warm showers :D Better than taking a shower in a truck stop for 15$! We didn’t have the time to explore that much but activities and swimming also offered.
Report Check-InBig campground with 120 sites and only 3 campers. Maybe cause it was Wednesday night.
Only 10 bucks for camping and look warm shower.
Great campground! Only 10$ with clean shower and quiet place in the middle of the field. Perfect for a stop
Report Check-InArrived at 8PM with a couple RV sites available and all of the tent sites. Showers and flush toilets in very clean bathrooms
Report Check-InA real hidden gem, 5 miles off I-80. Most sites have hook ups, but we stayed in one of the two tent camping areas, quiet and secluded. Amazing views overlooking lake. 2 shower houses but in mid-May they were still closed for the season. Pit toilets only. Advise calling ahead if you're counting on this. Only $10 for camping starting in May and $16 for hook-up sites.
Report Check-InSuch a treat TONS of spots, each with its own lake view, picnic table and fire ring. birds are making music and it's super relaxing. make this your stop if you can!
Report Check-InQuiet spot a short journey off the highway with a few RV rigs around. The fee was $7 and there’s a drop box for the fee like others have stated. I had no issue showing up late at night. I got there when it was dark and the view in the morning was a nice surprise!
Report Check-InReally nice place with tons of spots. On this beautiful Tuesday evening I think I have the place to myself. My electric seems to be turned off but I don't mind.
Report Check-InThis is a great park! Mostly RV spots with 5 or 6 tent spots. Nicely spaced out so not right directly next to each other. A lot of the spots overlook the lake. Quiet. Beautiful. $10 a night for the tent spots. They have a lovely garden & nature conservancy. Pets on leashes also welcome. Only problem is I wish we could stay longer.
Report Check-InNice little campground, it’s not too far from I80 but just enough to get away from the highway noise. Not too crowded and very peaceful. Can’t beat it for $7 for a tent site.

Report Check-InNo reservations. Clean, beautiful park with lots of shady trees and some views of the lake down the hill. Many camping spots, of all shapes and sizes- some allow head to head parking, instead of side by side, if you’d like to set up set up next to friends. (Nice!!). Electric at most sites, water is sort of scattered around. No sewer, instead 2 dump stations to the right just after you turn into the driveway (before you register/pay). They are very adamant that you pick out and set up on a site and THEN go back to register and pay for it. Showers are really nice- cleaner than we usually see! and hot. There’s a swimming beach and the water was pretty weedy. Nice camp hosts. Site #29 has an AWESOME Oak tree that gives great shade for most of the day. If I wake up at night, I notice it’s TOTALLY quiet. Wow! Sometimes we can hear a semi or loud car during the day, but for the most part it’s pretty calm. There’s a 3-mile loop walking path that goes around the lake with multiple paths leading off of it (to shelters, picnic spots, playgrounds, etc.) and there’s a disc golf course. Very pretty!
Btw, we originally went to Red Rock Lake and they were filled to the gills! So we came here instead and there are plenty of open spaces (in June). Such a pretty park, too. Glad we found it!
