Something not right?

Description

Small campsite with amazing view of Table Rock and the Gorge. It is right near the road, but the view is worth it. Rock fire ring. Trees for hammock camping. This is the best view right from the campsite that I found on NC-105. There are other larger campsites off the road a bit more, but they don’t offer the same view. Oh, and 2 bars of Verizon 4G LTE.

Great site right off the road, so there is traffic. Nice flat spot for a tent, stone fire ring. Great views! I arrived at night so I got to wake up to them. Perfect sunrise location! Room for 2 medium vehicles or one large. Need a vehicle with a like clearance up this way. A Subaru outback be ok but maybe not a legacy. Just done ruts and rocks. Unmaintained roads up here. Some sites you need a truck to get into if it has rained but there’s plenty to be had besides what is listed on here.

I don’t know if you heard about the view from this place, spectacular. Could squeeze 2-3 rigs (SUV/Truck) in here if pretty level if you know what you’re doing. Or great for a truck & tent or two. Spooked a black bear on the middle of the road about two miles back. Drove in from the south, took about 50 minutes once on NC 105. - **just had 2 bike packers pass saying the road form the north is the worst they have ever seen.** Will be exiting to the South.

came through on a Wednesday and lucked out to get this site, was about to set up across the road, which would have been fine, but the person at the view site was only there for the day. there were plenty of sites, but it didn't look like most had views. road is rough in spots, I had no issue in my 4wd pickup. had cell service once I got up the hill, T-Mobile. nice quick hikes to waterfalls in the morning. cool.

Stayed here two nights. Amazing view. Frequent traffic on the road. Probably busier on weekends. Tons of sites along this road. People told us we had the best site but the site just south of us has a view + trees for hammocks. Do NOT come from the north. I saw reviews say come from the north bc it's mostly downhill which is true but it's extremely rough in a few places and a huge mud puddle in one spot you can't see how deep it is. I was so afraid my poor van wasn't going to make it. You can do it without 4x4 but I do not recommend it. So again DO NOT come from the north (from blue ridge pkwy) Highly recommend coming from the south. it's uphill but it's pretty flat.

Stayed one night in our 2wd Sprinter. Roads had just been graded so the 7 mile dirt road from Linville Falls wasn’t bad at all. Gorgeous views & campfire ring. Enough room for one vehicle.
