Pier Access road under the causeway. Pier 220 restaurant.

We stayed overnight with 5 other vans. The officer came in the morning to say "no camping". Signs going up shortly.

beautiful spot, but we were approached by the police in the morning when we woke up. NO overnight camping here. it is a city ordinance. sad, because it was a great spot. visit during the day til the restaurant and park close. great spot for the day.

Awesome spot! Lots of people fishing, live music at the fish shack, clean bathrooms and garbage. I practiced what I preach and left our spot cleaner than I found it. Oddly you can’t hear the traffic above you, only an occasional train going through town.

I stayed here at the beginning of February 2024 for two nights (left during the day, only returned in the evening) and on the second night police came and very nicely told me no overnight is allowed and they come through as often as they can.. they kicked everyone out and was searching one persons car that he clearly lived in. I was in a camper van.

some spots below the bridge, no interdiction sign, no one came to as ask us to leave
some noise of music or motor in the evening but nothing too load
good place to stop before or after Kennedy space center

I arrived after dark and chose to stay in the furthest marked parking spot facing the river. There were some vehicles under the bridge, but I didn't want to drive over the curb to get there. Pier 220 wasn't terribly expensive and my Island Pulled Pork sandwich was delicious!

We thought we'd try staying here. At first it seemed pretty good, but there was a lot of wind and it was rocking the van, ans then a bunch of cars and trucks were roaring in and out, playing music *really* loud. We didn't feel comfortable for both reasons, so we left and went to the nearby Cracker Barrel, which was perfect.

Nice spot to boondock on a Friday/ Saturday night. Live Music at the bar Thursday - Sunday. Open 10:30 am, food served till 9pm, bar open till people quit drinking.
There is a bar grill here so it was loud and happening till 2am.
NO BATHROOM when bar is closed.
I did ask the bar manager if my over night stay is ok and she said she wouldn't call the police. 😉 🍻. But there are homeless people in the area. I also woke up to a lot of car campers ect.
Good fishing all-around the pier. People in and out all night.
There were 30amp plugs on the pier. Didn't try any but if you need to charge a device and have a adaptor you may be in luck.
Beautiful sunrise!
Good 5g T mobile coverage.

Nice spot! The bridge provides shade, and the proximity to the water provides a refreshing breeze and beautiful views. I enjoyed watching a pod of dolphins frolicking. Spent two nights here with no problems.

Great spot. There’s a bathroom at the bar and one at the park. Lots of travelers here.

Awesome spot. 2nd night here. Many vans and cars overnight here.

Report Check-In

There is a lot of traffic because of the people fishing, the restaurant, and the road being a dead end. We opted to cook dinner in the neighboring park, where public restrictions are (even hung out there the following day for a few hours), and parked under the bridge afterwards; slept with no issues. Bunch of other vans and RVs around.

Great location! So nice waking up to the water. Pretty quiet at night. Stayed here for 4 nights. Felt very comfortable here. Don’t be a dickhead and mess it up please!

Report Check-In

Great spot, still open. Parked on the grassy shoulder along the water in my 36’ rig no issues

Beautiful spot under the pier right next to the restaurant...we parked our 36 ft class A under the pier. Excellent restaurant...we had Muscles and the best Bloody Mary. Staff is super fun. No noise at night other than a generator running but wasn't that loud. Alot of vanlife peeps parked for the night. Lots of fisherman. Nice spot!

Been here several times without the van, great restaurant. First time staying with our van. Parked under the bridge slider towards the water. Great for sunsets and sunrises, rocket launches. There’s live music till about 10, some car noise throughout the night but nothing crazy. Several other vehicles here all night. We left the window open listening to the waves crash against the rocks.

Please clean up after yourself, we picked up some trash left behind by others. Hate to see this great spot get ruined by stupidity.

Very loud, lots of random people making noise till 1am or so. Some homeless people but didn’t really bother us. Also insanely windy the night we were there. Safe from police though which doesn’t seem to be the case at the other locations in this area

parked here 1 night in my Purple class c RV right by the water. pulled in around 2pm and left at 1130am next day ...mostly quiet after 11pm. popular van life overnight spot. no sign prohibiting. use with respect.
4 bars of t-mobile service. follow my adventures on Queen Tasha TV

Sleep on an island. Yes. Do it! Great outdoor bar / indoor restaurant here called 220. Friday night live music was fun to catch. Lots of folks here overnighting know trucks, vans cars, and two regular RV’s. If you park a bit further from restaurant it is flatter ground. We didn’t use the bathrooms, but they are there. We found it a bit loud with the road noise, motorbikes coming & going and the morning garbage truck Saturday morning, but would certainly stay here again. Plenty of fishermen nearby on the piers. It’s known & designed for them. We did come for a launch but it got slipped to another day so we didn’t stick around. Walkers and cyclist working out in the morning was fun to Walt home. There is a great bar walking distance away in downtown too that you should check out. PlayaLinda microbrew bar. Great food!!

Report Check-In

Cops come through at bar closing, don’t bother you. No issues. Quite a few homeless boondockers in cars, but felt safe. Quiet after the bar closes. Good for a night.
