Latest Check-Ins

What a nightmare. The night was very noisy because of the many trucks. Generators were running all night. In the morning 9:00am the Visitor Center was closed!

Report Check-In

A spacious rest area with a water hose in the front area. WiFi is available during office hours only. Clean and well maintained. There is an equivalent welcome center northbound on the Alabama side of the state line. Traffic noise died away to nothing after eleven pm as this is a Federal highway not an interstate.

Report Check-In

Spent the night in my van here. Plenty of trucks spending the night and another car or two. Clean bathrooms that are open 24 hours. Night security. Felt safe. A little road/truck noise but nothing too terrible.

Report Check-In

Spent the night in my van. No signs prohibiting and they had 24 security. Also police patrolled and didn’t bother me. The restrooms and vending are open but the welcome center is closed.
