Something not right?

Description

Scenic bend in the river with 3-4 flat areas, some with fire rings. Road in is steep gravel, with some big puddles in winter months. Wouldn't recommend coming here right after rains. I made it fine in an RWD van with high clearance. I suspect it would be busy here with locals on summer weekends.

Google maps might point you in the wrong direction, to a road that doesn't exist. Stay on the main turn-off up the hill and come down on Forest road 6N06.

Road, like last person noted, is still locked.

Report Check-In

Attempted in my 2wd 1984 VW Vanagon... Could not climb the steep gravel hill. Do not recommend if you dont want to get scratches.

Report Check-In

Absolutely stunning when we were there. Lots more space than just a few spots, but the river was very low. although plenty deep enough for swimming.

Definitely a local hangout/party spot, but we were totally alone on a Sunday night.

Road in isn't bad, but not suitable for trailers/RVs. just a bit tight. No problem in 2wd or for our Truck/popup camper

Report Check-In

the road was closed when we got there last night, not sure if it's a permanent thing, there was no sign.
