Puerta del Diablo is a cliff side hike with free parking!
There are three hikes on either side. They have nice views of the coast, lake, volcanoes and the capital. They have no shade at the top so it’s little sweaty and steep but not far. Doable in 20 minutes, with a big reward.
During the civil war executions were held here. There are many other urban legends about the place as well.
There’s some lil food shacks with pupusas, riguas, the usual fried stuff and drinks below the hikes.
We went on a Sunday, it wasn’t too crowded but it’s a popular spot for sure.
We had pupusas in Parque Balboa and it was super tasty!
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
UPDATE: September 2021
