Latest Check-Ins

Everything looks closed, we finally find a woman who told us 10,000 colones for 2 person with a campervan, no wifi, no hot shower and lot of mosquitoes. Didn't stay.

Report Check-In

Nice place after a late border crossing from Nicaragua. A normal parkinglot where you camp, but the area around with the river is nice. They have Toilets and outside showers. Didn‘t ask for the Wifi, but could not see any signal where we stand (close to the building). Tons of mosquitos around. Payed 5 Dollars for the two uf us, which is a good price for Costa Rica.

Report Check-In

Right along river with lots of tables to sit and relax. Have to drive 10 km from highway on dirt road with lots of potholes.
Camping $5 per adult or 3,000 colones.
Offers river and fishing tours but tours expensive. Nice bathrooms. Cold, rustic showers away from main building.
Lots of mosquitoes. They serve breakfast and lunch but lunch only when they have tour groups or know you are coming. No dinner, we were able to buy beers. Prefer colones but will take USD (but don’t give a good exchange rate). No WiFi. One facet to wash dishes in front.
Nice relaxing place to stay but no WiFi, limited food and caiman in river so no swimming.

Report Check-In

Nice place to stay if crossing the border. Right on the river, not too far from the main highway. We didn't try any of the restaurant's food, but we had the coffee which was inexpensive. The bathrooms are clean, and have running water. There's apparently rustic showers available somewhere as well. The camping area is just a gravel parking lot, but it's quiet and we felt very secure. The owner speaks English and was friendly. 3000 colones per vehicle per night.
