Something not right?

Description

Parking lot of hot springs on the banks of a river. Paid 70Q though previous overlanders had paid 40Q, still not exactly clear why. 10Q to park, 15Q pp for the hot springs.... And i guess another 20Qpp to camp??... Springs are alright, not a go out of your way for destination, but if you need safe parking and a toilet this will do.

I payed 50q for one day and one night untill 8am! Just cleared the entrance with my MiniWini (3.30m hight)! But I hear they would have another parking lot!

Paid $25q to park/camp and $30q/p to use the hot spring tubs even though the sign outside says $15q/p ($80q total). The security guys working in the evening were much more friendly than the kitchen staff we dealt with earlier in the afternoon so prices might be cheaper if you can arrive after the kitchen closes around 5:30.

Pools were kind of dirty. We had the pleasure of very intense eye contact from a 2 or 3 year old girl while she squatted down to pee in the water right in front of us.

Great place for staying one or even two nights. Rustic hot springs, with camping area, toilets, showers and even electricity of you are nice and ask for it. They let us plug in our van into the wall plug, but that was an exception. However, they have plugs everywhere for you to use and charge your laptop or whatever.
Q10 for the van and Q15 per person for the entrance.

Total cost for us was Q35 (10 for parking, 15/person for access to the facilities). Has bathrooms, open showers down at the pools. Security guard was there all night. People came late to the pools but noise wasn't a problem. Wouldn't go other than as a place to stop not too far from the border. They sell beer and food, but we didn't try the food. We stopped at a roadside restaurant up on CA 1 before turning off.

Camping was great.... But my whole family (including the dog) required medical attention when we were burned from a inlet of boiling water coming from Agua Caliente while walking down the river. If you go, do not walk down the beautiful river, stick to the pools.

40q for two days of soaking and one night camping, the pools are right on the river and was very beautiful. Well worth the drive!
